  • Exactly what I needed. Worked out great.
Had a unique configuration on the motherboard I was using, couldn't find a plate for it, so I got these. Easy to use. I inserted this in the i/o plate opening of my PC case, lined up the motherboard against it, outlined the ports with a silver marker on the outside, then used a utility razor to cut the openings. I think it looks pretty good. ... show more

  • Bought this. Ended up not needing it. But turns out, I needed it all along
This came in clutch. I originally got this for Thermaltake Core v1 case to set up an eGPU. First off, the product fits perfectly and would snap into place and is a great moddable backplate. However, I ended up building a new PC anyway (since it was passed the return date) and didn't need to use this (since I ended up getting a new motherboard) until I installed an MSI Radeon RX 6750 XT. This GPU wouldn't fit normally through the case, so I had to temporarily remove the GPU's backplate in order to install it, however, by doing this workaround to install an incompatible GPU into my case, it closed off the PCIe mounting bracket cover in the back for the case. Fortunately, this backplate replacement was able to be used instead (with some adjustments with scissors to reduce the length). And since I added 2 additional exhausts externally, I was able to mod it a bit more with a small window to get the wires through into the case. THANK YOU FOR MAKING SOMETHING SO VERSATILE! Key notes: - The material is kinda cheap and I did think it was a bit pricey, but if you can't be bothered making this yourself in a 3d printer, this is a great alternative for the lazy. - I found that using scissors would easily damage the mesh if you're trying to cut "windows/gaps" for headers/wires. Would be best if you used an exacto knife/razer blade for best results. - I noticed in the reviews, that this backplate replacement isn't 100% universal and won't fit most cases. Fortunately for me, it did in more than one way. ... show more

  • Doesn't stay in
Great idea, but it pops out really easily. Needs to be a tiny bit bigger. Otherwise looks great.

  • Flimsy, too small.
The shield in question was of poor quality, the size did not match the port hole of my oven, despite covering the hole, it would not latch onto the hole and stay. it would fall out easily, leaving the inside of my oven exposed. While cutting out the holes so my pipes could be connected was simple enough, it just did not provide any kind of matching support for the the brand of Oven i use. I can not recommend this item due to the lack of supporting bracket size. Also if it had fit, the quality of the wax like plastic it was made of, would probably have melted when ever i was cooking on the forums. #cookingMAMA ... show more

  • Where have these been my whole life?
I was shocked when I came across these I/O covers. I have seen and worked on sooooo many PCs over the years where people lost or never got an I/O shield and always wished there was a way to get one. If you have ever tried, the manufacturer will likely just laugh at your pain and try to sell you a new motherboard. These little covers are so perfect! Bought a used motherboard on evilbay and got no I/O shield so I jumped at the chance to try these covers. They work great! You need patience to do it right, and even then it's certainly not perfect - I had to use tape to hold it in place tightly to the case. Still the absolute best product I have come across in years - if you need an I/O shield you can't go wrong with these. I am ordering another pair in case these disappear! ... show more

  • These are okay...
These might work for you in a pinch. Note that, as it says in the description, they are made of plastic. They are a bit flimsy. They didn't really work for my use case. I ended up designing and printing a custom part with a 3d printer instead. It's nice that it comes with two, in case you make a mistake or want to use it with two different motherboards. Note that the pictures are mostly 3d renders. If you want a look that clean when installed in a case, you'll have to be fairly careful and methodical in your cutting technique. I'd be more inclined to give a slightly higher score, but this is expensive for what it is. At that price it should be made out of metal. ... show more

  • Perfect Fit!
I purchased the IOMesh for my Mini-ITX case with Turing Pi v2 board. Not a common setup and had trouble finding a IO cover. I was easily able to measure and trim the mesh for the openings I needed and everything worked great. It fits snug in the case opening on my Cooler Master NR200p v2. Very happy it came with a second mesh plate in case I need to change the setup in the future to support a different board! ... show more
