This has been great to have for my kitchen sink in helping in keeping it clean. I like the fact that the opening for the faucet to fit can be cut at certain levels to allow it to fit easily, once you got the fit then it stays easily. But only cut off a little to start off with, if you cut too much there is not putting that bit back on then. I love the different textures on the mat to help clean off debris on your sponge or brush. It cleans very easily and does exactly what it is suppose to do in helping with making sure water drains in to the sink instead of just sitting there in that area near the faucet. ... show more

I hate how the back of the kitchen faucet and surrounding area always seem to have puddles of water everywhere. No matter how many times you wipe the sink counter down it seems to always be wet. Then the soap dispenser and sponge holder get wet, too. I recently saw something similar to this product that I did not buy as it was made of cloth to absorb the water. Same idea but then that is one more thing to have to wash with the dish towels so I would need to purchase at least two of them to rotate and having a soggy pad around the faucet did not appeal to me. I found this one and was so excited because it is easy to wipe down and actually directs the water to drain right back into the sink instead of all over the counter. It says to make sure it will fit your faucet. You can see in the first photo that I forgot to do that. It fit the top of my faucet perfectly, but the part attached to the countertop was far too wide. Fortunately, the center of the mat is easy to trim with circles to guide your scissors as you cut it to size. (Think of fitting a shoe insole to your size.) I had to cut the circle to the largest outer ring and then fitted it around the faucet base. It fits great now and it doing the job of keeping the sink area dry and tidy! I really love this for my kitchen sink. I was constantly getting water all over the place doing dishes... but this splash guard has been the item I never knew I needed. I love that you can cut the spout opening to customize it to fit your water spout. Definitely recommend!
