    • Chalk is good but the cap doesn’t seal well
The cap doesn’t seal well at all, so after a couple of sessions the opening has already dried out which makes it very difficult to get chalk out of.

    • Chalk is the best, but the bottle is the worst!
Lost $60 on 3 of these because the top-cap is just a total failure. Didn't realize how bad the sealing system was until it was too late. Tried t add water and alcohol but couldn't revive the chalk. I'm so in love with this chalk that i hardly use powder chalk at all anymore. It feels smoother and dries better than any other, without any smells or harsh chemicals. More importantly it grips the best as well! However, you will immediately have to buy a set of silicone travel bottles with the water-tight and ketchup / fish-lips / hemorrhoidial sphincter-type squirt valve. I prefer big-name stuff but couldn't afford 'humangear gotoob' or 'LiquSnugs' so i went with 'Wellna' (name not shown in photos, but bottles have a nice 'Wellna' logo. Another note: i don't know why this chalk is so magical for me; because i tried BD's gold (pure and mixed variant) dry chalk and wasn't impressed. I also tried BD's non-gold liquid chalk and wasn't impressed either. So they definitely got something right with this formula. I remember when the, now banned - thankfully, rosin based chalk was out and that stuff was so sticky it was amazing. This is probably 80% as sticky, by keeping your hands dry - so they can stick well, but without destroying the holds like the old tree-sap resin (a.k.a. rosin) based chalks used to. ... show more

    • smoothest and most grippy chalk so far
i haven't used a ton of different chalks, but this one is the best i've tried so far! very quick drying and only size of a pea is needed before every climb (then just use dry bag chalk balls after that). it's so great a grippy base layer. my only complaints are: 1) it really, really needs a carabiner clip point so i don't squish it in my pocket - and i'll post a rubber, water bottle style carabiner clip option if i can find one that fits this somehow (2) everyone tries to "oh i forgot i had it" or "can i borrow your pen" theft it from you - so you'll want to use a some sort of fishing tool retainer system so it doesn't leave your belay harness easy. Actually, a very small hole punched or drilled in the top of the bottle might work well now that i think of it. ... show more
