  • Works as intended. No leaks.
Works as intended. No leaks. Comfy grip. Fits well into my coffee maker. Glass ‘looks’ not as strong as original but only time will tell how durable this replacement is. I like that it comes with different lids, which you choose depending on what coffee maker you have.

  • Perfect fit, perfect size, nice and thick!
Great replacement pot... the extra lids are a plus, even though the one on the pot, was the correct one for my maker!

  • Perfect replacement fit and well packaged
This arrived in perfect condition and was packaged incredibly well to prevent any damage during transit. It fits my coffee maker model perfectly. Honestly, I can't even remember the design of the original standard carafe that I accidentally broke. I'm very happy with this purchase.

  • Fits my B+D CM1060
On the plus side, the pot fits in my B+D CM1060 coffeemaker though it is a snug fit, but it works properly. The negative is that there is a gap below the back of the lid where the thumb can lift up the top. When you pour coffee into a cup, steam comes through the gap! It is quite uncomfortable though not hot enough to cause a burn. My original pot for the CM1060 did not have this flaw. Also, the handle has been made fatter for better grip, though a bit too fat in my opinion. All in all, a suitable replacement for the original pot, though not an exact duplicate. ... show more

  • Margie Approved Replacement Carafe
I accidentally broke my sister’s coffee carafe. This spare pot worked great with her Black & Decker coffee pot.

  • GC3000B Black & Decker Carafe IS NOT a direct replacement for Maker CM4000S carafe number CM400-02 But you Can make it work.
Note: For the Black & Decker 12 cup coffee maker model number: CM4000S, the glass carafe number is defined in the instructions as: "Duralife glass carafe (Part # CM400-02) which I have. From other posts on amazon for this pot GC3000B it was stated it was "functionally" the same as the pot for coffee maker CM4000S. This may be true because it is also a 12 cup carafe but it does not fit. The unit is too tall to fit easily under the filter basket. The "bubble" top on the lid is too tall, moreover it has a smaller hole in it, than the lid on the (Part # CM400-02) the unit I was trying to replace. The lid on the (Part # CM400-02) carafe has a larger concave depression which allows the rounded valve on the bottom of the grind basket to fit into the depression which allows the free flow of coffee through the hole and into the carafe. Both of the lids supplied on the replacement carafe CG3000B were taller with a smaller hole which would result in coffee spilling outside the bubble and down in the slotted holes on the outside of the bubble instead of through it. This was probably anticipated so the carafe purchased came with an extra lid but it was even taller than the original lid. Both lids pressed the basket value vertically with too much force, so much in fact that the top cover of the reservoir was forced upward prompting me to release the latch that holds the top reservoir cover down. Others on the post stated that replacing the lid would solve the problem. Neither of the lids that came with the carafe GC300B would work. I decided to just use the lid from the broken carafe CM400-02 unfortunately it has a different hinge clip than the new pot so it would not fit either. There are three alternatives to me: Return the carafe, alter the provided lid by carefully cutting off part of the bubble with a sharp knife of file which would allow it to fit under the existing basket valve so the pot could be placed and removed easily from the hotplate as intended or the third option. I decided to replace the handles. The original handle had a decorative aluminum insert but don't try to remove this it is not necessary and you may damage it slightly like I did. Remove the top Philips screw in the handle then carefully pry apart the seam along the length of the handle until the bottom plastic tab is released near the bottom metal band. This removed the outer most half of the handle on the old pot. This exposes the bottom Philips screw that holds the bottom of the handle, the portion that is against the glass. This screw goes through a plastic block that is overlapped by the metal band that goes around the bottom of the pot. The band has a small bent clip which is easily released freeing the band. At this point it was discovered it was not enough to just replace the handle, the metal band that surrounds the bottom of the pot has a different plastic block that holds a second small screw that goes through the bottom of the handle and into the plastic block which holds the metal band in place. This part is not interchangeable between the two pots so the band and the handle from the old pot CM400-02 were all reused on the new pot CG300B. So after handle, band and old lid were transferred to the new pot it fit nicely under the basket just like the original unit. With probably no more than 25 minutes including learning how to make the transfer the new pot was ready. I figured this was less time than repackaging the pot for a return, taking it to the shipper and returning the web to find another pot. All you need to make this change is a Philips screw driver and small pocket type flat blade screw driver to pry the handle apart. You can save some money over an exact replacement, but if don't want the hassle or don't feel confident then be sure you find a carafe that is an exact replacement for the model number you are trying to replace. If all I needed to do was to replace one of the supplied lids I would have given this 5 stars but now I really can't do that. ... show more
