First bought this toaster because I was attracted to the color. A simple toaster that did its job simply. During its use it made many great waffles and pieces of toast. The handle finally broke in early 2024. If we push down the handle it'll still work, but the right slot gets the waffles stuck now. Overall, a good toaster that will last you a decent amount of time for its price. If the handle hadn't broken it can probably last you longer then 3 years. ... show more

Very happy and pleased with this toaster. Wanted something affordable yet nice looking. Has a retro look without the big expense. Not too large so fit on a small space I have for it very easily. Many of the cheaper options were plastic. I paid a few extra dollars for the stainless steel and am happy with my decision. The red is a very nice color and matches my other red kitchen items. Set on #3 setting first time and my toast came out perfectly toasted. Noticed on some reviews there were remarks that there was no cancel button. This is untrue as it's right in the middle of the setting button. The slots are large enough for both regular size pieces of bread and also larger bagels. This toaster does a decent, basis job: Toasts, accepts thick bread, has a popup button. The slot length is a little short, but it works for me. I'd rather have a pull out tray, but the price is right for what I need.

Thus far, this toaster has been working up to par and as expected. I like the classy look. I didn't even need to change the settings it was on (it recommends to try it as they have it set and then if you need to, to adjust). I have not done large things (i.e. bagels), but it's been perfect for my toast. The crumb cleaner/drainer things at the bottom works very nicely and I'm sure if I can find some of that computer air spray that people use for their keyboards I can clean the top groves even better to keep it looking really nice. Glad I purchased. Update***as of 5/8/15. About 5 days after the 30 day return policy I was unable to make any toast. I would push the lever down and it would pop back up. I tried maneuvering settings and just trying it different pressures to see if it was just a glitch, but it wouldn't come to life. I knew it was out of the 30 days, but I contacted Amazon anyway, spoke with a live person and was able to return my product for a new one. I have not started using the toaster as of yet, due to a series of events. I will update if anything happens again. Seems like a decent product, just maybe got a bad one. Amazon is the best. Keep it up :) Update***as of 8/5/15: this is still going and works like I expect a toaster to work. I am grateful it's still working after my breakdown earlier this year. I would buy again. I've made toast and bagels in all 4 slots I tried one bagel using the button and one not. It is pretty slow, the elements heat up very slowly I noticed, and by the time you get good color on your item (I like mine pretty dark), the bread/bagel is pretty dried out and really hard. Yes you butter it, but you have to cover every little bit to keep it from cutting up your mouth. Pros: it is very nice looking and slot sizes are great for regular bread and bagels. ... show more
