Make sure to ask for additional support for when adjusting the doors, you can request photo images which are way better than the directions.     • Would not buy - terrible product
This was so difficult to build. Takes 2-3 people. Very heavy. Instructions are out of order to build properly and safely. Some boards were broken and paint missing off doors and edges. Very disappointed due to price. Expected better quality for price.

    • Build from the bottom up, not top to bottom like the directions say

Where to start...first off, don't follow the directions from page 1. My advice start at page 9-17, then build this upwards, instead of downwards, then trying to stand it up; we did this (standing it up) and it ended up breaking the part (screws breaking apart from the particle wood) so no drawers because it collapsed, the backs didn't go in correctly because the wood was uneven. It definitely isn't worth $500+, but I am stuck with it so we will make the best with what we have ... show more

Ok I finally have it assembled but did need to glue the back in place. The middle door is a little too high no matter what we do, but it will serve a good purpose in the small guest bedroom. I gave it 2 stars because customer service is very quick to respond. Were they totally helpful, no. They sent me the ow era manual again. It’s VERY hard to put together. You need 2 people and a very large area to lay out the parts and boards. The wood is cheap and flimsy. It’s super heavy when assembled. The brackets to stabilize it to the wall are garbage. We went and got an L bracket and mounted it correctly. Every review on here saying it’s a pain to build, we’re not exaggerating. The bar for the clothes hanger is also flimsy and cheap. Yah overall I am disappointed I spent $400 on this but if you want to return it, they make you pay to ship the parts back. Which came in two very heavy boxes and FedEx did NOT deliver them to my door. They dumped them at the bottom of the drive in a bush, and we had to load them in the car and bring them to the house. The return shipping would have been over $150 and we’ll, we kept it. Buyer beware. ... show more

I bought this to hang up off season coats for my mud room. It looks nice, it's sturdy and its heavy. It has a lot of long hanging room which is exactly what I wanted. I understood when I ordered it that this was made of manufactured materials so you need to be careful with assembly because it could be easily scratched or dented. The quality is what I expected for the price. It took me three days to assemble. Make sure that you lay everything out in a big area and keep all of the labels on the parts until it is fully assembled. Use an electric screwdriver. The directions are mainly illustrations. It's a puzzle to figure out. I assembled as many parts together as possible, then called in help for the final assembly. Two people are required to unload the two very heavy boxes from the delivery truck and to assemble. The parts were well packaged and protected, but there was still some damage done to the inside of a drawer panel. I was able to repair it with carpenter glue. The black matte finish is nice thought it did have smudges in areas that look like they won't rub out. I'm happy with the final product. It complements the room and is functional. ... show more

Considerable research and caution went into my decision to purchase this storage unit. The look, style, and measurement fit with my vision for the storage need. I was pleasantly surprised - the unit arrived in two manageable, though heavy, boxes, protectively packed. It did look like their journey was a bit rough, however all pieces were unaffected, intact, and accounted for. The unit back was made of 3/16th inch pressed wood fiber with firm wood-like vinyl surface, supple yet firm; the unit front appears to be made of wood, sanded smooth and well-assembled. The drawers glide open, all doors mounted even. Overall this unit is better than expected for the price, and the color (black) was just as featured in promotional photos. We purchased three of these units (all arrived undamaged and complete), placed them side by side to fit the width of an existing wall with less-than 1/2-inch to spare on each side, corner to corner, and firmly secured each unit to the wall. I am quite pleased with the overall look and unit functionality, and happily relieved and appreciative that this purchase and delivery was problem-free. ... show more

We like the style but are not thrilled about the material. It feels very cheap and flimsy. Disappointed in the quality Updating rating as customer service reached out and were super helpful in ensuring we were happy with the product. I appreciate their quick and helpful response.
