Description

Can I attach a trolling motor to this kayak? Yes. You can attach a trolling motor by using a motor mount or compatible bracket on the accessory rails. This kayak has a high capacity and a foot-operated rudder to handle the added weight and speed of a small trolling motor. Does it come with a paddle? Yes. All Pro Series kayaks now come with an adjustable, fiberglass paddle in the box. You have everything you need to get out on the water as soon as your kayak arrives. The included paddle is durable, lightweight, and adjustable to go the distance. How many rod holders does this kayak come with? Four rod holders: two articulating rod holders in front of the seat and two flush-mounted rod holders behind the seat. The articulating holders work well for active fishing, while the flush-mounts are great for trolling. What is the weight capacity of the 11.5 Pro Single Kayak? This kayak has a 550-pound weight capacity for the paddler, gear, and accessories. There's loads of room for tackle, electronics, and gear - however, best practice is to follow the 70/30 rule and avoid loading the kayak beyond 70% capacity. Is this kayak stable enough for stand-up fishing? Yes. With its almost 35-inch beam and fishing-focused hull design, it's built to support standing casts and sight fishing in generally calm-to-moderate conditions. 11.5 Pro Single Kayak 9.5 Pro Single Kayak 10.5 Pro Pedal Kayak 11.0 Single Kayak 9.0 Modular Pedal Kayak

  • Beautiful kayak
Color: Army
exactly what I expected! For me, the downside was that it was a pain in the neck to get it Registered here in Indiana cause I’m using an outboard. You can go to their website and download paperwork for registration. My question is why do they not deliver a title with a kayak???????????????? I mean, it’s just a piece of paper you know😉🙄 I talked to a very friendly guy at BKC and he walked me through the process. BKC’s customer service is just on the Schlapp side, not delivering the paperwork instantly with the vessel. ... show more

  • Extremley comfortable.
Steady, cruises straight and true. Easy to setup. All around outstanding. Took it out for a four hour cruise the next day, was impressed and pleased.

  • Almost Perfect
First off I love this thing, but I have a few gripes. Weight Capacity • It says it can handle up to 550lbs but you will have a wet butt. I am no skinny guy (310lbs.), I took 6 can's of beer and a Bluetooth speaker with me and I was sitting in water. It came up through the scupper holes which I didn't have plugged at the time. I stopped at a sand bar and put them in and it floated fine. But over the next couple of hours I had standing water again. Most likely due to splashing from my paddle. • The weight distribution seems off as well. When I sit in the kayak, it looks a little like I am a speed boat roaring through the water, with the front up in the air more than the rear. I am having to put gear that I want near me, all the way in the front of the boat to try to even it out. By gear I mean my beer. The Chair • The chair is nice, definitely better than a molded in style chair, but the back doesn't stay in position. It keeps sliding back. Had to tie the extra strap in a knot. • The butt part of the seat isn't very comfortable. I bought a seat pad to sit on top of it. Note: Again, I am a big guy so these two issues may just be my problem. The storage Compartments • The red nylon bag things that they put in the storage compartments go all the way to the bottom of the kayak. This shouldn't be an issue but water does get in there and it does soak every thing in there. It would be nice if they didn't go all the way down and just hung your stuff in a little hammock. • The other issue on these little red bag things is that the ring that slides into the lip right under the lid are very thin plastic and break WAY too easily. • They leak. Probably how all the water ends up inside the yak. I am looking into ways of making them more water tight. Things of note... • It is a slower kayak. So in groups, be ready to paddle from time to time to catch back up. I think it is slower partially due to my weight, but also its width. Not a big deal, just more exercise to lose some of the weight right? • I put a little notch in the bottom front of the ridder to allow it to hook under the bungie when transporting it. Works like a charm. I am surprised they didn't design it that way. ... show more

  • Not what it seems
Color: Blue Typhoon
I’ll start off by saying it’s very nice and we’ll build has some decent features and i love it in the water. With that being said mine came in way later than it was said to come in. It’s None branded. All storage areas are super cheap and very very hard to close. The seat doesn’t seem to tie down. NO instructions no Cards no warrenty info NO ANYTHING. Seat looks dirty but close to moldy. Very disappointed especially when I’m the website it’s “$1499” definitly not that well built. Decided not to deal with returning it but wife’s and son will get a different brand for sure. ... show more

  • Bad customer service
Color: Storm Surge
Read the bad reviews for Brooklyn kayaks not just a good ones. Isaac, owner of BKC is interested only in selling kayaks. If you need any kind of customer service, forget about it. All you get is promises. I have an issue with a kayak seat not fitting properly, bad design, Chinese junk. Isaac was supposed to send me parts to fix it. That was 9/18/24. A year later 9/25/25 after countless emails, still no seat parts. I do not recommend Brooklyn kayaks or their customer service which they don't have. You're stuck with what you have. Don't just look at the pictures, look at all the bad reviews on different sites for Brooklyn kayaks. Update. Went fishing yesterday, 9/27/25, and both clips to lock in my pedal drive broke off. Yak is not even a year old. ... show more
