This was gifted to me a few years ago. I wasn't that excited about it and didn't give it a try for several months. I fell in love with it. It's almost like your Leatherman. You just got to know where it is at all times. I ended up losing it somehow in the forest. I missed it dearly for about a year before I replaced it with a new one. It's just great for starting any type of fire or heating something up or searing a steak. It's just a very useful tool once you have it. Kind of like scissors. Just imagine life without scissors. I feel similarly about this thing.

Worked well for the first few times. After that, it started spitting out butane, will not hold a flame if pointed down. The plastic lock button to hold in the safety switch at top so you can run the flame without two hands, gets stuck. (which doesn't matter since the flame goes out within a few seconds regardless). This thing is 90% plastic, and the butane filler on the bottom leaks when you fill it. It was manageable the first few times, now its basically useless. So I lit my grill 4-5 times for 50$. It's a great idea, but look elsewhere.

Love this campfire starter! The igniter stopped working after 3 uses. We were going to return it. However, we called the company and they sent my hubby a link on how to fix. It’s working again and we love it! Easy fix!!

This product is fantastic . We have a few because we have a wood stove , grills and fire pit and a pizza oven ! But this purchase came severely defective . The flame would go out once on and if you blew it out , the gas would still run . Again , this is my 4th - we know how to use it and we love them . This must be a fluke . However , I am disappointed that I had to jump through hoops to get them to refund me instead of just sending a replacement. They wanted me to ship this back - when it’s unstable ! No . So best I got was refund and I need to order a new one . I’ll find a new seller I guess .

This is the 2nd one we have purchased and the 2nd that has failed prematurely. It has a 2 year warranty which we have submitted a claim against. I have not heard back from the company yet. The 2nd one lasted about 9 months and used maybe 20 times (too cold to grill here in the winter). It was kept indoors when not in use.
