Our cat is a massive jerk and decided it's new favorite thing to do is to catch various living organisms (birds, snakes, bats. lizards, ground squirrels, moles, you name it) and kill and eat them under our bed, leaving the less tasty chunks behind to stink and for poor Roomba to choke on. Since it's a king sized bed, it is quite difficult to move and clean out on a daily basis as needed (She's a monster). The hubs enclosed the base of the frame to keep it from becoming Pet Symatary (yes that's how it's spelled) under there. It did the job, but he's not too handy with DIY and made the bed look like it was built from old pallets collected from the side of the road. So despite my abhorrence for anything foofy and ruffled, I decided a bed skirt was the only solution. It sat in its package for a couple of weeks because I dreaded the logistical nightmare it would surely be to put on. When I finally decided to pull on my big girl panties and give it a shot I was shocked to discover it was super easy to do even by myself. Heck, I could have pulled it off even if I had been day drinking (not that I'd know what that's like) So five stars for ease of installation, measurements and fit were exact, color as expected, and finally, it doesn't look half bad (No I didn't put it in the dryer to get out the package wrinkles, I couldn't care less. Don't judge me!). The cat is still pi$$3d at us, but no doubt will find other dark places around the house to hide the carcasses. Ugh!

This is sheer genius that has probably been around for years and I didn't know it, not having needed a bed skirt in ages. I washed and dried it on very low as soon as I got it, and it came out beautifully. The material is thin, but not thin enough to be cheap looking, just enough to flow, and it has a slight sheen to it. It was very easy to put on - I didn't even have to adjust it from how it came. My husband and I each took a side, stretched it over the already made bed, and fit it to the top of the boxsprings. Easy and beautiful. Totally worth the price and would definitely buy again if needed.

This is really nice. Hangs well nice fabric. Super easy to put on and off. But the best thing is this: When you change the sheets the bed skirt is NOT IN THE WAY OF THAT PROCESS. You move it out of your way and can tuck your clean sheets in without tucking the skirt in. Maybe there was a trick to doing that with an over the mattress skirt, but I never figured it out and it was a pain in the rear. And of course it's great you don't have to lift the mattress to put it on. A quick wash and dry takes out all wrinkles. Very glad I found this.

As I clean houses this will be recomended to everyone I know, fits great no more seeing under the bed, or dog hair getting under their for every day of sweeping an little blue bissel that goes everywhere with me.
