After using this for a full season I can give this bat 5 stars. This bat became the favorite on a 5th/6th grade team. Several kids preferred it as they said it had good pop even if they didn't hit that hard. Several kids got very good hits that made a difference in getting runs.

The bat is widely used in our league and good value for performance. Tried and true and preferred by lots of players. Good pop for a USA certified bat. Buyer beware - Amazon Warehouse lists "Used - Like New" options for a nice discount. I tried this to save a few bucks and when I opened the package found the original Marucci box carefully re-taped with a junky old bat inside. Clearly, a prior customer returned the box for a refund and included a different product inside. I contacted Amazon and returned the incorrect item for a refund and bought a new product. There wasn't really a return option for this specific issue so I wouldn't be surprised if the product just returned to the warehouse again to be delivered to the next customer.

My son had used the aluminum Cat X bat in the spring and we needed to get a better bat. We went with the Hybrid because the price was difference was nominal when we looked and the Cat X aluminum bat. I have tossed him some BP and the pop and speed the ball comes of the bat is very good. The balance of the bat appears good. The value of the bat vs other hybrids is better imo.

I purchased this bat on January 30th, bat was supposed to be delivered on February 2nd, never came. Called Amazon they said it was delayed, then after almost a week later wrong bat was sent (wrong drop weight). They ordered a replacement for the wrong bat and now the replacement is also late. I Just asked for a refund and bought the same bat at Dick’s since my son started spring ball practices. Great bat would recommend, bad Amazon experience.
