Birkenstocks are always great and this classic style is no exception. They fit perfectly, the leather is a nice light brown colour and they were a steal. I've never had leather myself, only the birkoflor so these did feel a bit stiff but after a week of wearing them they have relaxed enough to wear them on long walks. I ordered the exact same ones for my husband because they were such a great deal and his are a slightly different colour even though they are both the tobacco brown. His are a bit darker and more variated. I prefer his colour but like both. ... show more

This is the second pair of Birkenstocks I have and this one is great and well made with the leather. My other pair of Birkenstocks are 8 years old and still are fine. I wanted a backup pair to use, one that looks a bit nicer. I use these in the winter too by wearing socks. I have high arches and plantars fascitis and these don't bother my feet. ... show more

I got these in May 2022. By August 2022, the soles had already started falling off. It is now 1 year later and both soles have gone to wherever soles (not souls) go when they die and the straps are barely hanging on…me too, y’all…me too. You’d think I was wading through acid puddles in ‘em. But alas! This is just wearing them around the house. Did I mention the last pair I ordered from Amazon did the same thing within a year? Fit and feel of a Birkenstock, definitely the real thing. Definitely not tobacco in color. I received a suede Sand or Sandcastle color - still neutral so I can live with it but definitely not the color advertised.

Order a size smaller. I’ve ordered 2 different styles and had to return them due to them being a whole size to big. But theses shoes are incredible and last for years!!! ;-)
