When these arrived, I thought I had ordered the wrong size. They looked huge. I bought them to protect my Brussels sprouts from cabbage moth damage and larval infestation, after the seedlings outgrew the sizes I'd ordered early in the season. They looked almost comical. Now, weeks later, the br'outs have filled the bags. I must not have secured the openings tightly enough, because early on I found cabbage moths fluttering inside the bags, but it was easy to squish them since they were trapped at the top. Since then, no more moths, and I don't see any larvae or damage. Next year I will buy more and and make sure I seal them more tightly. The bags seem to be designed for keeping birds and critters out of small fruit trees, so I can't fault them for letting in the moths. They are sturdy and well made, and the mesh is definitely fine enough to keep out insects. The size allows the plants to grow pretty freely without being cramped.

Perfect protection for our strawberry plants, which the birds enjoy more than we do. The netting isn't heavy so as to weigh down on the plants but also not too light to fly away in the wind. Strawberries are self pollinating, which is good, because even the bees can't get to them now. You just unfold the net bags and slip them easily over the plants. The drawstring helps to keep them secured. For a set of 4, under $10, the price point is a great value for money. We just got them, so I can't speak to the durability, but unless they rot in the sun over the summer, I think they will meet our needs for this growing season. If they last longer than that, it will just be a bonus. Our strawberries are in a tower planter, and this neeting works perfectly.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: These are fantastic! I used them for my blueberry bushes. If you have ever tried and been tormented by the other cheap netting options then you know how frustrating it can be. This is simple and effective. Could kick myself for not buying sooner. Sizing is good. Isn’t half the advertised size like some other things. Enjoy your berries and Lee the birds away. Highly recommend

These nets are great. They are keeping the deer from eating my tomatoe plants, and will keep the birds from eating the ripe tomatoes. I also used them on my blueberry bushes and they work great keeping the birds from gorging on my berries. Only draw back is they snag easy on any slightly sharp branch or twig. I with they had a top and bottom drawstring opening. It would creat less snags when tending and harvesting the fruit and veggies.

Something has been eating my cucumber plants. I purchased these to cover the plants, which are growing on tomato cages. They fit nicely over the tomato cages. I may have been too late to save the cucumber harvest (they aren't putting on much new growth) but the bags work great. I think I should be able to rinse them off and save them for next year and cover them early in the season. They seem durable and they stay in place well.

These are nice. You can’t water through them the material actually kinda repels it a bit. They seem to allow sun but protect your plants from too much sun and pests. The drawstrings all snapped after about month outside

I bought these netting bags to cover our blueberry bushes as they grew berries and to prevent the bird from stealing them before they were ready for us to eat! It worked perfectly. The drawstring made it easy to quickly remove for harvesting and it allowed us to get several pounds more than usual now that we weren’t sharing so much with the local birds! Will continue to use yearly!
