This has been a great addition to my home, and has really made my bird watching hobby even more fun. Assembly and app set-up was very easy and there were no issues there. The camera quality is actually really good, better than I was expecting for a bird feeder. I like how there are different compartments for food and jelly. It did take a couple of days for the birds to notice it, but inc they did I’ve gotten a decent amount of birds to come eat on it. Overall, a great and fun item to have if you love having birds around!

Works awesome, please be patient with installation. It is a smart item, do not rush. The feeder works on 2.4Ghz network, I had 5G, most people do, there is an easy way to split your network, just ask google. I installed the app Ubox, easy, got my phone on 2.4G network and pared camera with it, then you can change back to 5G, app will continue working. The feeder, camera, packaging is very good quality. Camera is high resolution, app allows me to take pictures and videos, I really really enjoy it! Spotted red cardinal yesterday 😊 you can hear the sound from birds, you can talk to them too, solar panel works well, I appreciate the pretty long cord to connect solar to feeder. Recommend!

another update I really liked my 2 birdfeeder cameras So I ordered a 3rd 1st I plug it in to charge it and 5 minutes later I go back and its unpluged I look its broken. The silver plug is no longer connected to the wire and its stuck on it .I box it up return it on July 15 I asked for another one. I should have known better. Its been 2 weeks No Birdfeeder no refund no communication except they got the feeder. I call I have to speak to Amazon , yeah I'm over here jumping through hoops to prove its me NEVER AGAIN BIRD BUDDY HERE I COME They refunded my purchase price and an apology so since my other one worked so good I bought another. It has worked great I still think the app has a problem minor that they could probably fix with an update My honey was installing his Ring camera and I said this is better SO HAPPY FATHERS DAY he is installing this at the camp Hope to see a lot of different birds there I got my 1st 1 for Christmas and I loved it (AT 1st) . Put it up and thought it was a bit hard to get codes scanned they are under and behind but we got it installed. Birds were a bit dark we moved and adjusted the camera and had to reinstall , even though they were on the wifi we had to re scan the damn thing and reinstall. My grandkids loved it and so for Valentines day I asked for a 2nd. We installed it and thought ok good WRONG . Yesterday I was sitting inside when I get an alert. I look NOTHING . App says no camera's installed but its taking video. I try to reinstall cameras the app cant find them so I go through all the steps press button wait for beep scan code ........NO IT WILL NOT SCAN CODE I try the other way scan code underneath NOPE wont scan I have now taken down the back one and tried to reinstall the front one NO It is taking video and putting in the library but not showing live or even the camera is hooked up AND There is no way to install the app on a laptop you have to use your phone I'm going to return the 1 I bought for my son and get him the Bird Buddy one

I have to admit that the manual that comes with this is not the best, but I still found the little bit of assembly needed quite easy. Once you download the VicoHome App it is very easy to get the camera up and running. Be sure to order a mini SD card. Formatting the SD card in the VicoHome app was easy. The camera takes great video. It is easy to operate the camera from the app to put it to sleep and change power settings. It’s great that you can watch a live feed and even speak through the app. I’ve used this to scare away a robin that was consuming too much of my mealworms. You can even use it as an intercom to talk with someone near the feeder. The only issues I’ve had is that the antenna is loose and I can’t get it to stay tight but it still operates fine and the threads that hold the thumb screw popped out. The thumb screw secures the birdhouse to the pole but since the unit is heavy enough that the thumb screw is not really needed.

I can't say enough about this. I love it. Oh it doesn't work with alexa which is a bummer.... But even still this is probably my most favorite thing Ive gotten in a long time. The birds love it and I love that I can scare the squirrels off with the speaker and the light at night. I do not pay for the subscription ( you need a sub for the bird identification ) and I think it works perfectly well without it. I do still have to get a bird id book tho! It is a bit pricy but I am really glad I took the splurge. The is feeder is really awesome!
