Came brand new and I love the in-game options & character creator..has a somewhat decent story about dark VS light alot of it seems to be thrown onto you but the game play is solid, if you enjoy mmo type games like DC universe where you collect loot to upgrade your character / weapons & fight for XP you will more than likely enjoy this game. The upcycle system for weapon crafting is really cool too. Once you reach level 4 the game starts opening up more so just give it time try not to compare it to so much to BOTW as biomutant is a lot more deeper in terms of RPG elements. WoW/DC universe type game in an offline open-world apocalyptic format is what I'd compare it to more. I wouldn't buy this for $40 digitally but $20 you're getting your money's worth. (BTW turn off narrator voice & gibberish as it becomes repetitive really fast)

I love the ability to explore and craft your weapons. This had a lot of bad reviews but I like to make my own mind up about things and Im glad I did. Plenty of side quests and chances to acquire different mounts.

I’m only a few days into the game and I’m enjoying it. There’s always something to do and the combat is interesting. Idk if it’s the fact that I grew up playing Atari, saga, NES and the likes but it seems like people want a perfect game for a little bit of money. A lot goes into these games and being an IT I know that coding it without any errors is almost impossible. We didn’t have updates and patches when I played games as a kid so I love this age where we are able to play these beautiful and creative games. I recommend this game for anyone who likes to explore and enjoys creative combat 😃

Biomutant is a narated action/adventure RPG. You play as an anthropomorphic mutant animal (my first playthrough I was a blue racoon/lemur looking creature), and you go on a quest to avenge your dead parents and either save the world or destroy it. Movement and combat is smooth and fluid, and crafting and modding gear and weapons is simple. You can fight hand-to-hand, with melee weapon, and ranged weapons, you can even unlock a dual wielding skill. You also get psychic powers and mutant powers if you didn't already have enough ways to kill your enemies before. It's an open world game with plenty of places to explore and loot, and a few puzzles scattered around to break-up any monotony. The story is decent, but the naration makes it superb (in my humble opinion). It's easy to get lost spending hours simply exploring the world. I would highly recommend this game to everyone.
