The fingerprint scanning is very very reliable, especially since you have the ability to scan the same finger multiple times. Very responsive opening. The digit pad also works very well. This is the best safe, clock, cell phone charger. The finger print to open works flawlessly and the code works perfectly as well, very easy to open and close. Come with a safety cable to make sure no one takes it. The charger works perfectly as well. The time, alarm and code is really easy to set. I am thinking of putting one of these in every room of the house. This is a highly recommended product, and the price is really good for what you get.

Solid product. Very secure and display looks and acts like a regular clock along with temperature and battery life. Comes with two keys and of course biometric opening. Easy to charge or power. Can store a firearm or other valuables (jewelry, etc). It doesn't really look like a safe, so it's both it's portable and a good place to store valuables.

I am very impressed with this safe. I am not mad at the fact that I didn't get the higher cost safe. It works just as it says it will . I like the way the safe can be plugged in and has a back up battery for power outage. I am able to place two firearms in side of it ( glock 23 and glock 17). It still has a little room for small items ( ID's Passports, watches) with theses items inside of it. It is well made and like other post, it's heavy, and looks nice and fits well on a nightstand. It opens very fast and just enough to grab your firearm in the evendt of an emergency. It was easy to program as well, it took about less then 5 minutes to do it. For sure a value for the money. I hope that it stands up to daily use.

I really, really, REALLY, wanted to like this pistol safe. It has a ton of features that would make for a great safe if put together properly. The Front facing clock and “Heads up display” is great and functional. It’s bright and easy to read. The MAG Charging ability on the top of the safe make this safe easy to use on the top of a nightstand or desk since you can charge your devices on top of it. The battery backups are nice and the KEY back up is nicely hidden on the back side of the unit. Programing was easy and it seems to function well (only 1 day in) The Fingerprint pad is responsive and quick. You are not going to win any “quick draw” contests with this thing but it’s functional for what it is. This is where it gets disappointing…. The construction while NOT plastic… Might as well be plastic. It seems to be some sort of THIN alloy… or pot metal. Easily dented with a reasonable “knock” the body flexes when you carry it. The DRAWER FRONT SEEMS TO BE PLASTIC. The front display covers the front side but the sides, back and insides of the front of the drawer feel like plastic and feel like it would easily break. The drawers “POP” open but only about an inch or two. Then you must pull the drawer the rest of the way open, HOWEVER…. There is a spring on the end of the drawer pull so it automatically tries to snap the drawer closed again. This is a TWO HAND OPEN operation, especially if you do not have this thing bolted town to the tabletop. It will slide all around when trying to manipulate the drawer. While this is marketed as a “SAFE” I would not put much confidence in the ability of this item. A large harbor freight Flat head screwdriver and a hammer can get into this thing quickly. It will however keep little kid hands out. If you are planning on going away of the day or week or whatever, I would secure your pistol in your regular safe. The drawer itself is very small. You Can fit a P365 Macro with Light and ONE mag on the side. That’s about it. A larger “midsized pistol would fit but you may not have room for an extra mag. A larger 2011 or a P226 would most likely NOT fit in this safe. The Watch charging portion attaches to the back side of the box with a USB and the “WATCH ADAPTER” is free floating on the top. It would have been better if they built the charging location into the top of the safe the way they put the Phone charging pad on there. The charging dongle dangles around and is not secure to the top. It also get super hot when charging the apple Ultra watch for just a few minutes. Overall, the concept for this pistol safe is great. IF it was made of a stronger metal and have a better locking mechanism and front drawer protection from Harbor Freight screwdriver attacks, it would be a really good bedside or desk top safe. I’ll be sending this back soon and look for something better.
