I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the packaging for this Charging Dock. It was packaged as nicely as any name-brand item. It arrived with charging batteries to replace the standard batteries in the controllers. It also came with multiple replacement magnetic charging carabiners. It has easy-to-understand instructions and contains everything you need to convert your controllers to rechargeable. It has non-slip feet and a cord that is 3 feet long. The base is approximately 4"x 14" and made well. Love the light feature (lights rotate through all the colors) although it can be turned off if you don't want to use it. If you use your Oculus often and don't want to burn through batteries I would highly recommend this charging station.     • If you're struggling to charge the controllers...
This is a nice accessory for the Meta Quest 2 headset. I purchased it and had it all set up for my kids on Christmas morning. It has been used multiple times a day with ease and I do believe this will hold up over time. I love that it keeps everything in one place, and is crystal clear when it's charging and when it's done. One thing I struggled with was getting the handheld controllers to charge. I read several reviews and couldn't figure it out so I wanted to add a little tip: Just make sure that the metal stripes on the rechargeable batteries are facing up before you put the covers on and you'll be all set. Small complaint: With games like Beat Saber, sometimes the battery cover on the controllers will start slipping off during gameplay. I looked into getting rubber covers to make sure they don't fall off during more intense games, though I believe this would affect the controllers charging properly. Last comment: This charging dock is designed well and works well with aftermarket upgrades to the head-strap. It doesn't affect the way the headset sits in the base to charge.     • Wonderful way to Charge
I was tired of plugging in the headset to have it lay on the case or shelf when charging, where it was susceptible to being knocked over, which happened twice, once by kid and once by dog. I came across this charging station and like the idea of magnet attachment and rechargeable batteries for the handsets. I was initially skeptical about the quality of charging and the security of the attaching points, but after using it for several weeks, I am much more confident in its ability. It was very easy to set up with the rechargeable batteries and connecting the magnetic pins, and they aligned quickly and securely when placing them on the charging station. My kids, 7, 10, and 11, can all easily set and remove the Oculus with ease. The lights on the charging station and scanning of different colors also made a great night light for the room - so bonus. My son lives on his VR and is always wasting batteries for the hand-held controllers. We just hooked this charger up last night but so far so good. Was easy to hook-up and for him to use (he is 10). I don't know how fast it charges yet but I really like the colored lights that change when fully charged. It was a little on the expensive side but I think it's a good value for the price.     • Doesn’t charge controllers
This charging dock doesn’t charge the controllers without playing around with the position that it lays on the charger. Seller VERY rude when inquiring about possibly trying new batteries rather than having to replace the whole dock right off the bat. Returned and ordered a different brand.
