We are tired of getting different pillows just to have them smushed down and nearly flat after about six months. Tried the medium to firm and the all of the sleep variations. We've gotten cheap pillows up to the pricier ones as well. Nothing is working. Well enter the shredded memory foam pillow. Is it going to last the six months? Not sure yet, but so far so good for sure. The pillows came all vacuum sealed up and very flat but after opening up the bag, fluffing them, and letting them set for a week, they are very fluffy with good support. They came with extra foam in a tube to add more stuffing but I seriously don't know if it needs more than its already got inside of it. These pillows are kind of big. We ordered the Queen size but none of our pillow cases fit the length of these pillows. Our literature that came with these wasn't marked for size so we think they may have sent us the King size pillows instead. We're gonna need some new pillow cases. That said, I have slept on these as is without new cases and they are indeed very comfortable and bounce back to shape. Only time will tell if they can maintain this level and I will update as time goes by. However, for now they have been doing an excellent job over the past 3 weeks. 5 stars. ... show more

These are a bit strange. The covers are very soft, and they are very long pillows- like, weirdly long. They don't fit in any of my pillow cases, not even close. They come with extra foam that you can add to the pillows if you want more fill, which seems like a good idea until you get these things and feel silly wasting the fluff and try to split it between the two pillows and make an obnoxious mess and make your pillows kinda lumpy. I wish they just filled them and didn't force a DIY option- it's not enough foam to make a noticeable difference so it's just an annoyance. These are very comfortable in terms of their cushiony plush memory foamness. But the cover doesn't feel super breathable at all and I overheat FAST when I use this pillow. I probably won't use these to sleep on, but more to cuddle with. They are odd, and I wouldn't buy them again. ... show more

I have some back and neck difficulties, that can make sleeping well problematic. My pillows were old old old, and squishy, so when I saw this set of shredded memory foam pillows at a great price, I ordered. They fluffed up nicely. I love memory foam; they can take a little bit of getting used to if you haven't used them before, as at first they seem too firm, but within a minute or less they start forming to your body shape. I use one under my head to sleep with, along with a rolled neck towel, and I sleep very well and wake up without any aches. The pillows are firm to start, and if you like a LOT of firmness, may want to add in more filling--which comes with the pillows! I like the way they adjust to the snape of my head, neck and shoulders. I am not sure exactly what "gel infused foam" is, but it works well! I am always too hot, especially when I sleep, and these do have a silky fabric cooling side that seems to work well, much more so than feathers or a solid pillow. The covers are washable. I would recommend these without hesitation, and they would make a great gift for a friend or loved one who has neck or back problems. ... show more

I am a side sleeper and it is challenging to find a pillow that does not give me a crick in my neck or a headache. My husband is allergic to down so that is not an option for him. We have been using a down alternative Serta pillow, but I feel that these pillows are nicer. They arrive quickly and are completely mushed into an air-tight compressed roll, however they fluff right up in an evening. There is a bit of an unusual wonky smell when they are first opened, but it goes away within a day of allowing it to breathe. The size is perfect for my pillow cases. My husband loved his new pillow right out of the bag and the cooling side is an extra plus. I felt mine was actually a little too puffy for me. The zippered cover case inside a zippered case design gave me the option to remove some of the stuffing to make my comfort level absolutely perfect. Plus, it came with extra stuffing so over time when they begin to flatten I will be able to add additional stuffing to make them perfect again. The stuffing is a combination of tiny pieces of memory foam and fibers that provide just the right malleability to form it exactly the way I want for exceptional sleeping comfort. Wow, do I love mine now? Immensely. These pillow sets are so superior in quality that I plan to gift a set to each of my adult kids for Christmas. ... show more

These pillows are really nice if you like memory foam style pillows. You can adjust the amount of filling to suit your preference and they even include a package of extra shredded memory foam. The pillows are dense and heavy. The removable covers are thick and soft. Even though I also use my own cases I like being able to remove the included ones so I can wash them so being removable is a plus. I like pillows that have the mix of shredded memory foam and pillow filling like this one does. It does a better job at keeping shape while being super soft. They also do a great job at keeping cool for any headsweaters out there. At $30 for a set of pillows it is well worth it.
