This is a great choice for a beginner or someone who just wants to set up a solid, all-in-one saltwater aquarium. The stand was easy to assemble and the aquarium was basically plug and play. It cycled in 2 weeks and is looking great so far. I highly recommend it.

Tank: Day 2, like it a lot. Setting it up was easy as we pumped the water from the old tank to the new and added a few cups of the old gravel at the bottom, so it should keep up its eco system and rebuild the bacteria. It is quiet, pumps well, the lighting is good. Easy to add the filtration. We keep 2 angel fish, a shark and a algae eater. All seem to adapt fine. Cabinet: Bit flimsy or light. The tank weighs a bit, add 20lbs of gravel, 10lbs in ornaments, 267lbs of water (32 gallons) and you'll quickly go over 300lbs total. I added a few reinforcements to the cabinet as after assembly it still wiggled sideways. ... show more

I've always wanted a saltwater tank and this thing in awesome. Keep in mind everyone, you are going to spend a LOT more money on this hobby. The water, sand, and rocks to fill the thing will be another $300 (yes you'll need to buy sea water). The first fish will cost $30 (and then yes, they will die). You will need to LEARN a lot and talk to a million people to get your tank set up correctly (should take around 6 weeks) and then LEARN a lot more to keep the things you want to keep (I am going to make an arrow-crab the star of my tank) and then you'll still need to LEARN how to introduce and feed corals. Heck! This is a massive hobby, and starting with a BioCube makes it easier than ever to get started (but it's still rather complicated). Now I've got to eBay away all of my comic books so I can buy more fishies! Expect to spend at least $1000 total before your first fish survives. ... show more

    • Stand is horribly built...
So, the tank itself is great! I've had one before, and loved it. Now, the stand they sent is really crap... The holes were drilled poorly and at odd angles, and off center of where they SHOULD be. With that, I cannot properly mount one of the doors, as the side panel overlaps where they placed the hole for the door... I would've sent it back, however I needed to set it up right when I received it as I had live rock, water and sand waiting... So, I'm not at all happy with this purchase as the stand really messed the whole thing up. Total bummer as the tank itself is great. ... show more

Came with some things missing but was fixed very quickly.. the tank is now months old and it is thriving with corals and fish atm.. get the protein skimmer and uv light set up.. if you do get this tank it'll make your saltwater hobby easier. Get the light upgrade if you want harder corsls..
