Description

Did you know that 30% of what we throw out is compostable? Composting is the key to reducing greenhouse gas emissions and replenishing our soils, reducing warming effects on the climate. BioBag offers clean solutions for the collection of organic waste in commercial kitchens, grocery stores, cafeterias, businesses and for zero waste events. Our variety of commercial liners fit the most popular containers on the market. BioBags aren't meant to last forever but are durable and strong enough for the conventional collection of food waste and other compostable items. We offer more sizes than any other compostable bag manufacturer, look for our additional Amazon listings for additional compostable liner bags. BioBag is the leading supplier of compostable bags across the globe however, BioBag isn’t a large PE plastic bag company that now conveniently dabbles in the new world of compostable bags. We are a small company of dedicated employees, who are fully committed to ONLY producing Certified compostable bags and films. It’s All We Do! This product complies with California Law (SB 1972) and other state/local laws regarding compostable labeled products. BioBags are Biodegradable Products Institute certified to meet the ASTM D6400 specification. Biodegradable Products Institute Certification 891053. The ASTM D6400 is the North American equivalent of the European EN 13432. Both specifications require that compostable products completely decompose in a composting setting in a specific time frame, leaving no harmful residues behind. For best results: Use within one year of purchase; Store in a cool, dry place away from excessive heat. Try the fridge or freezer; Change out the used BioBag as often as possible. • Keep your can clean....
Size: 60 Count (Pack of 1) Color: Green Pattern Name: Trash Bag
Buy two boxes... very strong and decomposes.

  • I use these bags to hold waste from my pet goats
I use these bags to hold waste from my pet goats. The thought that the bags as well as the waste can go back to the environment is very comforting. I encourage everyone to start using compostable/biodegradable bags and urge your law makers to make this into law. These bags are quite strong and hold up well. The only thing is that they send me the 96 gallon (!) instead of the 39 gallons. The bags themselves are great! Highly recommend! ... show more

These bags work great. They don't tear at all and love that they help the environment.

  • They slip if not secured, but it is better than having to wash out trash cans all the time.
Size: 60 Count (Pack of 1) Color: Green Pattern Name: Trash Bag
I like that it lines the big trash cans given by our trash company, however, if the products are slimy or there is a lot of grass, twig, or brush debris, the bags can easily tear. I wish it would be stronger! I love the fact that I can get a lot and use them over the months. What I do is buy large rubber bands to hold the bags in place so they don't fall into the large cans! ... show more

  • Well constructed organic waste bags
Size: 60 Count (Pack of 1) Color: Green Pattern Name: Trash Bag
Each of thesee bags have a strengthened bottom, and therefor hold up quite well.

  • They came in one box about 12x12" and it looks like they've been taken out of their original boxes
Size: 1 Count (Pack of 500) Color: Green Pattern Name: Trash Bag
can't find this 8 gallon size ANYWHERE in an actual brick and mortar store. They came in one box about 12x12" and it looks like they've been taken out of their original boxes, which is actually easier to store and grab. Perfectly fine, good price compared to buying the individual boxes.

  • Awful product. Waste of money & NOT environmentally friendly
To start - these bags are off-sized for squared bins other 8-gallon bags fit perfectly, so I have to stretch them to fit. Far more importantly, they are pretty much useless for damp waste, so I've had to double them up, and they are still turning to mush. I would, this, imagine that a few days of rain would reduce them to gummy mush, too. Unless you're planning to compost your bags of trash yourself, I highly doubt they'd last even a day of the trip on truck and/or barge to a landfill which means that all trash you've put in them will spill out en route. That, of course, completely defeats the point of trash bags altogether. I have used numerous brands of biodegradable, compostable bags, and these are the only ones that are so obviously ill-suited to their supposed purpose. I wasted well over $100 (the price seems to have gone down to $109 now) on 500 of these. Using two at a time brings that "bargain" down considerably. As even two aren't holding up, I'll probably have to buy a different brand, so I'll be out even more money. Environmental issues are EXTREMELY important to me (as they are to us all, though many do not acknowledge it), so paying more than I can really afford is something I do as often as I can manage. Companies like BioBag are not helping. ... show more
