This is a good generator for the price. It's alot quieter than I thought it would be. I'll be using it to run my trailer with air conditioning this summer. It started right up on propane and I ran it for a few hours to break it in and then changed the oil. Changing the oil is a pain. Have to turn it on it's side and it makes a big mess if you miss the oil pan. Wish they would include a screw-in funnel like my Westinghouse did as it would make it a lot easier and less messy. But overall it's a great generator for the price. I would definitely buy one again. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I like that there is not a lot of extras with this unit (key fob, digital read out) less to have problems with and this gives you a lower price of the unit. Very quiet no problem with the unit. To change the oil you have to remove the battery to drain plug and the square ⬛ rubber plug to drain the oil out of the bottom of the unit. Contacting the seller had no problem doing this threw Amazon. A question they answered for me was fast response. Up date this inverter generator has proven itself on the fifth wheel I have both ac /refrigerator / microwave it has power with no problems. Yes I have soft start on both ac. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Honestly I was hesitant because I’ve never heard of the brand but it has so far performed as expected. Very quiet, video is hard to do it justice and this was on a light load, it was running a mini diesel heater at the time of recording. Started very easy every single time, I did a “break in” cycle to ensure it lasts a long time. I also added an hour meter to it for ease of a service schedule. Not heavy at all, very portable and easy to move from place to place. I use it in my trailer as well as my barn so I move it around a lot. Sets up fast, doesn’t come with engine oil but has everything else included minus the hour meter I added. I would recommend buying this, not worth spending more than double for one that’s red and supposedly has less decibels, I don’t believe that to be the case. Very comparable to the red one that I’m not mentioning the name of. Runs everything I’ve needed it to so far and fuel consumption seems to be on par. ... show more

Picked this up a few weeks ago. An AMAZING value. However, it did not meet its output specification of 2kW running (continuous). Waveform was pretty ugly once we passed 1850W and my unit would shut down around 2kW. I feel this generator was fluffed a little in marketing on power output. At least my sample was! More positive though... What you cannot see is this generator and inverter (the insides) are found on a few much more expensive generators. I have a gutter business and bought this to put in my work trailer. I have used it consistently about 5 days a week for the last 6 weeks. It has worked flawlessly. Runs great. Starts every time. Super happy so far. I hope it lasts. For the money and savings versus some of the other brands, I think I made a good decision so far. If you are considering buying one, I would go for it. The only thing that got me a little is that the battery wires were already hooked to the battery, and I did not realize at first that I had to plug the connector in. Follow the positive and negative wires connected to the battery and you will see you have to plug it into another wire. Once I figured that out, it has been smooth sailing. ... show more

If this generator worked just 75% of the time I would have kept buts its completely unreliable. Once generator was received I gently broke it in, ran full tank gas no load and changed the oil, then put it away. Within a week I used it but once I added any load it would bog out and shut down. This happened 2 or 3 times within 2 days without being able to use it. I requested a replacement or money back and within some time I received an email asking me to video tape the troubling occurrence. I again started the generator, started the video and low and behold no issue occurs. I send word back to the company saying unit is now working, I don't know why it was not holding the load previously, thanks for time. Since the above happened it has been the most unstable generator ive ever used. The problems I'm having I will reflect below. * Shuts down anytime, any reason, under any load whenever the Damn things wants to. * Unstable - with pulses. I could have it on and then it just all of a sudden it lowers the power outage for a bit then re-energizes. My TV/DVD will turn off while other things stay on but with low power, then generator is fine again. This happens often. * The turn knob is cheap plastic on a metal rod with EASILY broke, now I have to use needle nose pliers just to switch on/off/choke. * The plastic side cover is cheap and can easily warp, gaps are evident. * Right now, it wont stay on and I have not a clue why. Fresh oil, fuel, air flow. * I have yet 3 times tried to make a video of these occurrences but the videos are to long and I'm not catching the issues at time of happening, and yet we have to undergo another nightmare if you're not video savvy on how to cut video length, upload it when you're off grid. * Stay away from this generator, I should have gone with my gut at time of purchase the name of it alone is over compensating for the cheap design and no reliability. ... show more

Received generator, worked through all the break in procedures and noticed the ECO switch was doing nothing. The generator was running full thottle no matter the load or if the ECO switch was on or off. Emailed Bilt Hard support and they responded within a few hours asking for a video. Sent video and in the meantime I removed the side cover and looked around with a flashlight and saw the wire coming off of the stepper motor was severed. Took a picture and sent it to support. They snet me two options, either splice the wires or swnd me a new stepper motor. They are sending a new stepper motor and $40 credit. I also went ahead and spliced the wires and the ECO switch works perfect and this thing is reallt quiet! Excellent customer service. ... show more
