  • You're right to be skeptical, but these are legit
Style: 8 in 5 Speed
I thought there was no way these were gonna be good, but for $27 and knowing I could get a refund, I thought why not? These are the real deal. Plugged it in to my charger and it charged just fine on the Ryobi charger. Once it was good to go, it was time for a test. On the Ryobi 4Ah battery, I can weed whip my entire lot and leaf blow half my walkways, or leaf blow everything before it's drained. With this pack, I was able to weed whip the lot, edge all the walkways and driveway, and leaf blow 90% of the walkways before it was drained. As soon as I got done, I ordered 2 more. These are worth every penny considering 3 of the Ryobi 4Ah batteries, which don't last as long, would set back $150 while these are $80. Update: So far I've only found one issue with these vs the genuine Ryobis. If the batteries get hot, they trip an overheat protection similar to the genuine batteries. However, the newer Ryobi chargers are able to sense this and go into a delayed mode until the battery cools off before starting to charge. These batteries do not communicate with the charger, and will sit in a constant state of testing, even after they cool off. Simply reinserting the battery in the charger after it's cool will start the charging cycle though. Minor issue, but they're not perfect. Still worth it though. ... show more

  • This is my initial impression
Style: 8 in 5 Speed
I had this delivered one day ago, so I have no data on longevity or battery life. However, my first impression is that it is solid and probably has long battery life because of the battery size. I was surprised that the push-in releases that unlock the battery from the charger and tools is very hard to depress, compared to my other Ryobi batteries. ... show more

  • Having good luck with another knock off & trying this out but already dissapointing
Style: 8 in 5 Speed
I went back to get another battery from a seller I had bought from over a year ago 'cuz their battery is still doing quite well under everyday use but they aren't selling them now so I'm trying out this one to see if I get the same results. Will let you all know next year if it's still going or before that if it fails. Update: This battery has pretty lousy longevity, it performs about like the power of a 4 a/hr if that. It's certainly not legitimately a true 6 a/hr battery, Won't be getting any more of these! ... show more

  • Flimsy construction and false advertising: "Cast Iron" = CAST ALUMINUM
I don't believe there is a single cast iron part on this machine, even though the product description claims: "The head, table and base of the bench top drill press consist of cast iron ..." The parts are obviously lighter weight than iron, and a neodymium magnet fails to stick to them. The head and table are cast aluminum. The base is steel of some sort, but it is stamped, not cast. Other crucial parts in aluminum include the quill, column support flange, the table support arm. Even the included vise is all cast aluminum, the only steel is on the leadscrew and jaw tips. Motor has no labeling or markings that I can see, but given the rest of the construction I would be surprised if its actually capable of anything close to 3/4 HP listed in the detailed specs (not to mention 1HP listed in the title...). ... show more

  • 6.0Ah of Value Excellence
Style: 8 in 5 Speed
Searching for low cost Ryobi batteries can be time consuming as there are so many manufacturers. This 6.0ah 18v battery has all the functionality, compatibility, and value beating others. Packaging was clean, charged up in Ryobi charger, operates with high power &longevity, and the battery status meters works well. For the price, you cannot go wrong with this battery for your Ryobi tools. Yeah, it's not green but you'll save a few $$$. ... show more

  • Good value...
Style: 8 in 5 Speed
Purchased to use as another battery option for my Ryobi tools; blower, string trimmer, hand vacuum, drill, light, etc. Seems to work fine and last a bit longer than the standard thin Ryobi batteries that come with the tools. Time will tell on the longevity but have been using for several months and seems to work OK, but doesn’t last quite as long as I hoped. Two times the size and output of the standard battery does not always equate to twice as long regarding usage. However, would recommend as a value option to the expensive Ryobi batteries with an above average rating. ... show more

  • Super Price
Style: 8 in 5 Speed
Lots of "juice" in this battery at a great price. Works with Ryobi's charger. Haven't used it down to zero charge to see if it becomes unrechargable as some Ryobi-branded batteries occasionally do. I will revise this review if it does.

  • Works Great
Style: 8 in 5 Speed
I've had this Powermall battery for about 3 months and have used it in the Ryobi leaf blower and the Wet&Dry vac consistently all the time when in use. These two tools eat thru the Ryobi 3ah batteries fast. I noticed that the Powermall last much longer with and provides more force. I doubt that they provide 6ah of power, but more like 4-5ah, still for the price they work great and still recommend them. P.s. They do stick in some of the tools, but if you remove them from the tools after use, its no so bad. ... show more
