I recently picked up the BILT HARD 135A 3-in-1 IGBT Inverter Welder, and I have to say, I've been quite pleased with it overall. Right out of the box, it was straightforward to set up. I appreciated how clear the instructions were, making it easy to get started. I've used it for both MIG and stick welding, and it has performed well in both applications. The arc stability is impressive, and I was surprised at how easily it handled various thicknesses of metal. The 135 amps provide quite a bit of power, so it's great for home projects without feeling underpowered. One feature I really like is the portability. It’s relatively lightweight, and I can easily move it around my garage or take it to different job sites. This flexibility has been a game-changer for my projects. On the downside, I did notice that the duty cycle could be a bit limiting if you're working on long welding tasks, but that’s pretty standard for machines in this price range. Just plan breaks into your work, and you should be fine. All in all, the BILT HARD 135A is a solid welder for anyone looking to tackle DIY projects or light professional work. I’d recommend it to both beginners and those with a bit more experience. It gives you good quality without breaking the bank.

Ok stop looking at other welders as a kit you won’t find a better deal the gloves are awesome I struggle to find a good pair that fit my fat fingers wow . The helmet works fine just no instructions how to assemble took 15 min . The welder is absolutely bad ass I have had miller Lincoln and Hobart this thing welds itself if you can’t lay a great bead with this you can’t weld . Definitely easy to weld with how long it last let’s see I took the warranty out so I really don’t care buy the welder

Great portable machine. Very versatile. Took only minutes to set up the mig wire feed. Hammer/brush combo was sub-par. Helmet needed assembly, head strap was a little warped and needed reshaping.

I have put out nearly an entire spool of the INCLUDED wire. This thing has tackled jobs I honestly didn't expect it to. It has never shut down on me, I use everything that is included with it, even the helmet. It will do the hobby work or household repairs. I wouldn't take it to the pipeline but when you can plug this thing up anywhere and it takes up less room than a backpack, it is impressive. Looking at their plasma cutter next! This welder is a great deal for someone just starting off or someone who needs a smaller unit to haul around.

The media could not be loaded. Genuinely impressed with this little welding kit. Would I use it professionally? No, but it’s great to keep around the house or for a hobbyist/weekend warrior. Has plenty of instructions, and seems to work without any issues. It’s not the strongest in the world, so it can’t handle anything stronger than 1/4” (honestly probably 3/16”), but it’s more than enough for normal things. I used it to repair a headache rack for a truck, and to rebuild parts of a trailer. Definitely recommend this if you’re just starting out, or looking for a cheap alternative. It’s not very heavy and has plenty of room for fine tune adjustments on the settings. The helmet is a little thin, and the gloves handle the heat well but will get a little hot if heat is concentrated on one spot for too long, but haven’t had any issues. (Lowe’s sells the exact same set but for like $50 more, from the some manufacturer.)
