I have a 2013 4runner with 175k and they had the original Toyota OEM shocks on them and they were pretty toast. I was able to replace the front and rear by myself and WOW, what an awesome, tight and stiff shock. Any bump i hit the vehicle immediately recovers, no more bouncing. Just because they are stiff, they are also very, very comfortable and i have no complaints whatsoever! The biggest compliment I have is the company (Trend's Auto) they were able to refund some of the difference after these went on-sale after i purchased and they responded within minutes regarding doing a price match! I will 100% buy again from Trend's Auto! thank you! The installation for the rear is pretty straight forward, but the front actually went incredibly easy by using the "no spring compressor" method, I didn't even have to loosen the sway bar at all. I took the wheel off, removed the top shock nut, loosened the lower control arm and removed the 2 lower ball joint mount bolts and gently lowered the jack! it went awesome. i highly recommend this method. ... show more

The 5100 fit perfectly on my 2017 4Runner I did front and back. The front shocks are adjustable so i went up 1 step to add .85 β€œ to the front that almost levels the 4 runner out and made it look better. They also make it drive amazingly. The handling on the road improved a ton. Definitely glad I upgraded to them. You will also need a spring tool to swap the springs. But that was easy and Amazon has the tools for around 50 ... show more
