  • Certainty does the job
This little contraption went together fairly easily. I put Loc-Tite on all the threaded fasteners. All the hardware showed up. Yea! I zip-tied a split length of garden hose around the top ring for added wheel protection. I took a 180/55R/17 Pirelli Diablo Rosso III off the rear wheel of my 2008 KTM 990 Super Duke (the greatest bike ever), no problem. I'm actually a little impressed. The build quality is definitely Chinese. Oh well. It works. It doesn't take up much room. It doesn't weigh much. It's a good value. Buy👍 ... show more

  • Works, easy to use
Removed and fitted street and off road tires with this and it works. I covered the top ring with a hose to prevent scratches on rims, etc. Takes a bit of practice, but worth saving the dealer costs to replace tires.

  • It takes a little bit of time to assemble
Assembling this tire changing stand needs some TLC. It comes with instruction manual but the holes are not perfectly aligned as one would like to. In the end, i had to have the nut screwed in the bolt at least couple of rotation just enough in to hold the circular part upright and once all the legs are put in place then, i started tightening at least four rotations at a time on each bolt and moved on to other bolts until all are tight to specs. In my opinion this is the only way to be able to successfully assemble given the holes are not aligned perfectly. I finally used this once this month and was able to change my motorcycle's front tire flawlessly. It breaks the tire bead effortlessly. Soaked the new tire in the sun for a couple of hours and that speed up the tire install process. Additionally, i zip tied a 7-ft 2x4 wood at the center base and 12-inch 2x7 wood on each side for balance and this tremendously made the tire stand stable particularly when breaking the bead. Then, cut the zip ties once done & stowed the tire stand in the garage for future tire replacement. This tire stand is not perfect by all means however, i was able to make it usable and serves my purpose. Due to the shipping issues transporting this tire stand to my home in March 2023, i had my bike's rear tire replaced and balanced at a professional shop for $55. The shop dinged and scratched my bike's rear wheel, they didn't clean the remnants of the old lead weight's sticky backing and had to wait for them to complete for 1.5 hours. The cost of this stand is just a little over the price i paid for the rear tire replacement by a shop and to me that's a bargain; the job well done by yourself in your own garage and time is priceless. ... show more

  • Ominous Signs
Between the fact that this was designed to be a PITA to assemble and that mounting holes were not spaced correctly between two parts requiring quite a bit of machining to make things fit, I'm not at all confident in this product. Then there's the threaded section the bead breaker arm is attached to that is sufficiently thin that there's approximately 3 threads present to hold the arm on. I have to believe this is going to fail quite quickly. Threads all had to be cleaned of powder coating so the nuts would fit. Missing nuts & washers. Etc. etc. etc. All in all, a very unimpressive presentation out of the box. Have yet to actually use it, so an update to follow. Given the chance to do this all over again, I would have opted for something manufactured somewhere else, anywhere else than where this came from. No need to disclose that location however. We all know where that is. ... show more

  • Wish I read the reviews
Instructions to assemble were not good. All parts were there. But hard to line up bolts. And the Allen head required to mount the arm. Hopefully you have a big enough one. All metrics. Feels flimsy and there is some extra bolt that's says it is for stability, but serves no purpose. Also. The tabs to protect the tire or rim aren't big enough. Personally, this is a waste of money and time and space. Going to return it. ... show more

  • Easy to break the bead
This was easy to assemble and use. I changed my first motorcycle tire with it. I was surprised how easy it was to break the bead. You will also need the tire irons with rim protectors to remove the tire from the rim and install the new tire. You can keep the rim on this bead breaker and mount the tire. Worth the money to make things easier. ... show more

  • Does what it's supposed to, but beware of low-quality fasteners
Used this to pull old tires (90/90-21 and 140/80-18) off and replace them. I was worried it was going to be a pain to put NitroMousse in the new tires so I bought this stand. Did exactly what I expected it to do. Made breaking the bead a breeze and kept the wheel under control while spooning on the new tires (even with a giant, floppy, slippery, foam donut inside). The pin for holding your spoon was extra welcome. Only gripe I have is that the supplied hardware to bolt together the two rings is trash. 4 out of 16 nuts failed when tightening them down with a 10mm end wrench and a 3/8" drive ratchet (not a lot of leverage there). Not a huge deal, and I wouldn't return it over the nuts. Just be ready to replace some cheap hardware when putting it together. ... show more

  • Made it easier to mount dirt bike tires!
The media could not be loaded. Easy to assemble, takes about 10 minutes to put together. Holds the wheel in place and the arm has plenty of leverage to break the bead. Obviously not gonna be as good as a Rabaconda, but better than trying to hold a wheel down on the floor with your knees.
