The softcover for the USB charging port is a bit loose and the method of attachment to the bike post and handlebars leaves much to be desired. Zip ties are included but not a solution for anti theft. Likely you'll want to put this in your pocket when you leave your bike. Though the light itself seems to be sealed well, with the above exception, the activating switch doesn't seem to be very water resistant and its internal lighting indicators are quite weak to see during all hours. The light itself works very well and is quite bright, and all the different settings work as advertised, including the right and left turn indicator. (why I purchased this device) It has an auto off feature which is nice to save on power, and it has a sensor to activate it when stopping. I would have given this light a much higher rating if the mounting devices were more adequate (a rubber band to hold the indicator to the handlebars doesn't cut it). Also would have been nice to have a full kit with headlights and wheel lights that all sinc together.

I had to edit this review based on my experience: ORIGINAL REVIEW AFTER A FEW DAYS OF USE: i attach this to the hole in the back of my helmet, which i use to ride an e-scooter. 1. this is very bright. really bright. once you attach it to either your bike seat pole or back of your helmet, it's very nice that it has a quick release to just remove the LED unit for recharging. you don't have to fuss with the rubber band. 2. the remote is excellent - it's all about the shape. the thing looks like a cross, so you're not feeling around for buttons laid out on a rectangular remote. excellent, logical, remote design that let's you feel it out and not have to look. 3. the unit and remote come pre-paired. after using another brand for some time, i made a list of gripes, and looked for the product that would resolve all the gripes. it was this product. UPDATED REVIEW: the original product failed after the return window, (would not connect to remote) so i contacted the seller and they sent me a brand new one to replace. excellent customer service! i then purchased another one to put on the front of my scooter. they both paired to the same remote. perfect. now, several months later, both the replacement and the one i bought have both failed. same issue. there really is something wrong with the manufacturing process.

This is the second one I bought for my new e-bike. I love this, it's very easy to use and is visible for when I have to ride on the streets. This is the second one I have purchased so I now have signal lights on the front and back of my e-bike. Pairing both signal lights to one remote was simple and when I hit a button, they both come on simultaneously. Also, durable. The first one fell off my bike on the first ride when I hit a hard pothole. That was my fault for not attaching it securely, but the signal itself was fine despite the hard hit to the roadway. My only dislike is that it is extremely difficult to see if the lights are on or off in daylight conditions. You cannot see the remote light up in bright sunlight. Otherwise, this is a great item and for safety on a bike, I recommend.

In daylight, the controller lights are not bright enough to see that you successfully pressed the signal light so I can only use this at night. And the controller battery died after maybe a couple years, not worth replacing just that. Must be better choices out there.

The concept is really cool and good however in practice it really sucks at picking up its own signal and will not consistently work no matter what. At best it's a USB rechargeable tail light. I've had to physically take the clicker off and click directly next to the turn signal and it still not pick up I said turn right. Not worth the money you pay for it.
