This bicycle taillight comes with mounting hardware to mount it either to the seat rails under your bike saddle or to the back of your luggage rack if you happen to have a luggage rack with compatible mounting holes. I don't (yet), so my only choice was to mount it under the saddle. That's actually a good location for it, as long as you don't have a bike trunk mounted on the rear rack blocking the view. So, until I can make an adapter to attach the light to the back of my luggage rack, no bike trunk for me. I appreciate the fact that this taillight actually has mounts to fasten it securely in place in either of two locations. So many taillights that I've tried rely on a rubber strap to hold them in place and they all wind up pointed at the ground after you hit a few bumps. This one will stay where it belongs and shine its light towards vehicles approaching you from behind like you want. Once the mounting bracket is in place, it's a simple matter to attach or remove the light with a simple twist of a bayonet fitting. The light is very bright and has 6 separate lighting modes selected by successive presses of the power switch. These include a normal solid red taillight and various combinations of red and yellow flashing lights when you really want to be noticed. A charging cable with a USB-C connector on one end and a USB-A connector on the other is included. The USB-C end plugs into the light. Inside the box, there is a Q-R code (see photos) that will take you to a website where you can download PDF files showing how to install either of the connectors and light as well as warranty information. The PDFs are provided in both English and Spanish, but installation and operation are both pretty easy and obvious, so instructions aren't really necessary.

This is a decent tail light, not hard to install, with several different high visibility modes. I installed it on saddle rails, which is one of the two brackets provided in the kit. Install was as simple as clipping the bracket over the sale rails from the top, then adding one provided screw from each side to clamp the bracket to the rails. The tail light then inserts at about a 30° angle and locks into place by rotating clockwise to level. The tail light seems sturdy when locked in place, so I think it would be unlikely to come loose and fall off. A couple of complaints: 1️⃣ The twist and lock mechanism doesn't really have enough clearance under my (Specialized) saddle for the edge of the tail light. It doesn't quite fit at the angle necessary to align with the slot in the bracket. This isn't an adjustment issue; the rails have a fixed amount of clearance under the saddle. I can make it work with a little pressure, but it would be better to have enough clearance. Otherwise I think it risks stressing the bracket each time the light is attached until it fails. 2️⃣ This is the second electronic device I've come across recently that charges via a USB-C port, but won't charge from a purely USB-C power source. It will only charge with a power source that provides a USB-A port, with a cord that converts A to C. That's terrible for usability and forward compatibility, because USB-A sources will become rare as USB-C becomes ubiquitous. To put a finer point, if all I know is that here is a USB-C charging port, it should work with most standard USB-C sources. This does not. The battery life apparently differs significantly between different modes, with more light chewing up the battery quicker. I haven't tested it to failure, but I'll likely only use lower power modes like red flashing side lights. All I care about is visibility to traffic in dusk or darkness.

I ordered this G2FS LITH Red & Yellow Dual Flash Bike Tail Light to install on my bicycle, and use during my night time riding. This light has a lot of great features - large bright LED's, rechargeable, long run time between charges, several lighting modes, etc. But where it falls short (and the reason for my 3 star rating) is with the flexibility in mounting the light to a bike. Other bike lights I have had offer the option of an expandable strap which you can wrap around a seat post or a clip which you can attach to an under-the-seat storage bag. With this light you must have/use either a suitable rear rack or saddle rails. And the mounting system does not provide for variable angling of the mounted light. Also, the connect/disconnect design of the light to the mount is not robust, secure and durable. Due to these mounting limitations I am unable to install this light on my bicycle.
