My primary need was tools the deep clean the chain and gears. This kit fit the bill plus has some extras. I used it as soon as it arrived and am very pleased with the chain scrubber and brushes. While its best to have either a bike stand or someone to help operate the pedals I found the scrubber went on easy, stayed together and did a thorough job. Chain cleaner is absolute garbage. It’s very cheaply made, and broke after one use. The tire brush is also not good, the bristles all bent and some came out after one use. The other brushes seem decent, but don’t see them lasting too long.

Got these as a gift for two of our friends kids who ride dirt bikes and downhill mountain bikes. They both loved it and so did their parents. This allows them to take responsibility for caring for their bikes. Hope you like it just as much. XO

This is a bargain, plain and simple. This kit arrived yesterday and today I gave my mountain bike an overdue cleaning and lube. The tools in this kit made cleaning the chain, the gears, the derailleur, the tires, and just about every square inch of the bike a snap. Here's a tip: If you're going to clean the entire bike, including the chain and gears, start with the parts that have grease/lube on them. Use a good degreaser and really work the chain, gears, and derailleur to remove all old lube and accumulated dirt. Lube everything that needs new lube before starting to clean the bike frame, saddle, tires, etc. Tip #2: After cleaning anything that's greasy or oily, spray the tools you used with the same degreaser you used for the chain, let them sit for a couple of minutes, and vigorously hose them off. The tools clean easily if you hit them while they're "fresh." You're going to be pleasantly surprised at how many of the tools in this kit you'll use and how effective they are, and you're probably going to agree with me that this is a bargain at the price (I paid $15.99 for it).
