The material is a soft Jersey type. Is comfortable but yet sexy. The top fit well but I did have to cut about 10 inches off the bottom. The material is a great quality and I didn't have to stitch a hem in it. It did not fry or curl up after I cut the bottom.

I normally wouldn't purchase a dress with side pockets because I never use them and the hips are usually accentuated. I made an exception in this case because several of the reviews stated that the pockets in this dress were not visible, hence no issues. WRONG, at least in this instance. Other than the pockets, the fit, comfort, etc, is very nice. The length will have to be shortened but this was no surprise. The reviews were accurate in that respect. I laundered it in warm water, normal wash, max spin and dried on high heat. Very, very minimal shrinkage. It takes to the iron nicely. In my opinion, the fabric is medium weight and I will wear a full length half slip because that is my personal preference. It looks great with a fitted denim jacket and strappy wedge sandals. Would I purchase this dress again in another color? No, solely because of the pockets which is why I gave a four star review.

I am 5'4 and wear a large. I ordered the light brown dress with the intention of wearing it with a sweater or layers in the winter. The material is very soft, the "a line" style is very flattering, and the length of the dress is perfect. For me, it just barely touches the ground so it'll be perfect for colder weather.

I ordered the navy blue in XL due to my curves, I'm 5'5 and weigh 231, I have a high waist short torso.....this dress balanced me. It makes me look tall. Amazon recommended a medium for my 5'5, 150 lbs, but I found that size to be very big in the waist and the arm holes were sagging. I exchanged for a size small and was much happier with that size. I love that the buttons down the front are useable and can be undone to create more of a V shaped neckline and the cut is pretty mermaid style. I love the pockets. The material is soft and doesn't wrinkle easily so great for something to pack and pull out without ironing. Lots of pretty colors, but the solid color doesn't do much to hide bumps and bulges -would love to see some prints that might better detract from these.

This dress is fantastic! It’s comfortable, it looks great, I could live in this dress. I’d give it five stars but, after wearing it twice, the top button broke into two pieces. I love the dress enough to exchange it. Hopefully the button was just a fluke.
