1. Check the accessories. 2. Loosen the screws on the side of the extension frame with the supplied Allen key. 3. Put the handle into the clamp, adjust the angle and distance of the two clamps. 4. Tighten the screws 5. Unscrew the screw on the other side of the clamps. 6. Match the non-slip leather with the clip and install it on the handlebar of the bicycle. 7. Install the anti-skid leather and clip on the handlebar of the bicycle, adjust the angle and distance. PS:If the non-slip leather is too long, you can cut it short with scissors 8. Tighten the screws. 9. Installation is complete, you already have more space

I bought this because there simply wasn't enough room on my eBike bar to mount a phone mount and rearview mirror. Thought it would solve the problem. I looked for one with the maximum stand off distance, but it's still only a few inches away from main handlebar, which lead to a lot of crowding, with phone blocking ebike display, etc. Tried moving display to this auxiliary bar and had to wrap it with several layers of strips of inner tube to get it large enough to fit tight, and that was an ordeal. Only to find that this bar was crooked due to the angle of the main bar where it was attached. Bottom line is that I returned display to center of main bars where it had been and slide this aux bar out to one side so mirror would function,and mounted phone holder on top bar, though I have to tilt it up a bit for the display to be entirely visible. It was either get this secondary bar, or go with a higher rise bar, but wasn't comfortable in how to change grips, throttle, brakes, controllers, etc from old bar to new. The quality of this is less than high end, but for it's purpose, it's fine. I was able to tighten all bolts on it very tight without issue. I was able to move it slightly after a few rides and really cranked it down so it's solid now. A good product to solve crowding problems on bars, but the stand off of the legs are shorter than I would have hoped. (though others aren't even as long as this model.) ... show more

It’s a good product. It arrived without any defects in material or workmanship no scratches or anything. My only suggestion to the manufacturer would be that the included O-rings be made of something with more of a grip in mind. They do the job of protecting metal on metal contact, but they are slippery against a slippery black metal painted surface. They require quite a bit of tightening work before they feel safe. I think if there was something for the O-ring design with some texture that could grip the smooth painted black metal better it would be a more enjoyable installation and more reliably solid once it’s all together. It does work fine once you spend a lot of effort tightening it though. ... show more

I guess the individual that was supposed to load the bracket that holds the extra bar didn't show up for work the day this was to be mailed. Missing part and the one of the holding brackets was crushed beyond use. Poor quality. I used one bracket to secure the extra bar. For $12.00 it's not worth my time to package and send it back. It would have been nice if it worked upon delivery. If you're reading this, look for another "quality" product similar to this. Three words pretty much sums it up "Made in China".
