  • Great 5" display for KlipperScreen or any other Pi related projects!
Style: PI TFT50#
This screen was purchased to be used as a display for my modified 3D printer. The printer is running Klipper firmware and I needed a screen that would allow me to run KlipperScreen. This display works great! It was very easy to connect with the supplied hardware and cables. Once connected installing Klipperscreen on my Raspberry Pi 3B was easy as well. The screen immediately worked and the rotation switch was great to have. I had only wished that it allowed 90 degree rotation was well. I searched for a bit and was a bit disapponted since most people thought that you couldn't rotate Klipperscreen 90 degrees, ie. portrait mode. Well after a bit of digging I found the way! I was finally able to get my display to rotate on my RPi 3B using the legacy command of: "display_lcd_rotate" as shown in the Raspberry Pi Documentation. However now that my display was rotated my touchscreen was not and therefore it was very difficult to control it. I then found instructions here on how to apply a Transformation Matrix for the touchscreen. In my case the combo I needed was to add "Option "TransformationMatrix" "0 -1 1 1 0 0 0 0 1"" to my "40-libinput.conf" file and adding "display_lcd_rotate=3" to my "config.txt" file. This combo allows my screen and touchscreen to match up and the rotation switch on the display allows me to rotate it 180 degrees. This works great on my Rpi3B and I suspect it would work with a Rpi3B+ as well. It seems the Rpi4 works a little different but hopefully similar will work for them. Hope this helps! ... show more

  • Excellent TFT LCD display for Pi Projects.
Style: PI TFT50#
Not much to say, except it bright, clear and the touch screen always works. I keep buying it for all my projects connected to a Raspberry Pi. Not the cheapest solution but you get what you pay!

  • 1 out of 3 that I purchased works great
Style: PI TFT50#
I originally bought two of these to go with the two Voron 2.4 3d printer builds I was working on. The first one worked flawlessly, but the second one did not respond to touch. It was easy to troubleshoot because I could just simply swap the screens on the printers to confirm. So I returned the second one and bought another, which sortof works, but not anywhere near as well as the first one. About half of the time it seems fine, but the other half of the time it is either unresponsive to touch or the touch is way off in terms of accuracy, which is important on such a small screen. I am going to try to contact customer support and see if they will replace, otherwise Ill have to go through amazon again. Will update if customer service lives up to their job. ... show more

  • Good for Klipperscreen, Ender 5 Plus Retro
Style: PI TFT43
Nice screen, Fits perfectly in the hole of an Ender 5 Plus for replacing the stock screen. I made adapter brackets you can find on Thingiverse 4972042. Small size but text is nice, crisp and clean. Touch is responsive. My only kicker was the ribbon connector on mine broke as soon as I lifted it up, so I secured it with hot glue. Would be 5 stars if not for that. I print daily so we'll see how it holds up in an update at a later date. ... show more

  • Great screen but causes Wi-Fi not to work
Style: PI TFT50#
Love the screen touch works really good just hate the fact that it causes Wi-Fi to no longer work on the pi 4 even with the included standoffs which are suppose to put enough distance between the screen and the pi for the Wi-Fi to work as long as the ribbon cable for the screen is connected to the pi Wi-Fi is dead which pretty much makes octoprint useless because I’m not able to use Ethernet I’ll trying buying a Wi-Fi dongle since I’ve seen other people that have resolved this issue by using one but really wish this issue will get resolved for the amount the screen cost this just really hurt me and my pockets to have to dish out more money to get Wi-Fi to work because the screen kills it ... show more

  • Great little big screen
Style: PI TFT70
With a lot of research and a little trail and error I got it working. This is not for someone who isn’t wanting to do some work to get things rolling. It is definitely not just a simple plug and play option but if you are here looking i am sure you know this
