I've used this thing on 3 separate trees now and it is great. It makes the job of setting a line in a crowded tree much easier as there is less arc to the speed bag than if you threw it yourself.     • Works like a charm.
While it took a bit of practice to aim this device and we added the trigger-release mechanism to help that, too, this unit does help accurately toss a light line and toss weight into trees a good 100' up in the air over limbs to help haul up a larger tree falling rope. We have used this unit to help safely bring down trees in a direction that makes climbing unnecessary and are well satisfied with all features and action of the unit. ... show more

I have used it 6 or so times so far. It is an awesome tool. It will launch maybe 200 feet. You can be pretty accurate if aiming closer.
