Theres no middle ground with this. I love it, the pets love it, my husband hates it. Guests come in and hop on it with a happy squeal or they step around it with a WIDE berth. Solid quality construction. Looks lumpy for a while but that seems to fade over a few weeks. No weird smell as one gets with some foam products. I've not washed the cover yet. This thing is awesomely comfy. I was sent a used one, because it was already puffed, in a thin clear plastic bag, tied at the top, and had to be squeezed through the door. I have to say the delivery guy was awesome, although he could barely keep a straight face. The company had sent a new cover for it, but my bag was medium, and the cover was a small. I threw a blanket over it and ahhh. My tiny cat made it hers. Sadly, it took up way too much space to be practical. It's perfect for a rec room, or family room. BTW, the recommended sizes are extreme. I am 5'2", the bag a medium, and my legs from just below the knee down hung off, but a well placed pillow worked just fine. ... show more

I purchased 3 of these in the kids size in colbalt, gray and pink. The colors are nice and the size is perfect for a child or even small adult. The chair does not overwhelm the room like some of the larger sizes appear to. One of the chairs was not as full as the other 2 so I purchased some additional memory foam to fill the bags. It is absolutely impossible to move the first zipper to get the cover off. I have not even gotten as far as the inner bag to say if that one is equally as difficult. At first I thought it may just be one of the chairs, so I tried the other 2 and the same issue existed. The zipper does not have a pull tag on it which makes it hard to begin with. I tried attaching a wire, a paper clip and a key ring, but none of these items could even budge the zipper. I am hoping my kids keep these clean as long as possible as it seems like the cover cannot be washed and my son will just have to deal with a less full bag. Once these get dirty or the foam gets too compacted/worn out, they will be going in the garbage. ... show more

This foam bag isn’t super comfortable to sit and lounge in. It makes a really cozy corner in my room. It’s child sized, so it’s not something to sleep in or lay down in. But it makes a great cushion of sitting up and doing computer work or watching a movie. I put mine against the wall, so I can lean against that and relax. It does tend to flatten out over time, and needs frequent proofing up again after a couple days. I find shaking it up and down helps, punching the sides also helps. I put mine in a crocheted bag cover that I made with blanket yarn for extra softness, but it also helps hold its shape. I don’t think adding some extra filling would be a bad idea. We got two of the medium Big Joe fufs, and these things are big! I wanted to be sure they were big enough for my tweens to get plenty of use out of them, and they definitely are. They take up a lot of real estate in our living room, but they're comfy even for an adult, and the kids love them. I like that the outer bag can come off to wash (in theory - we've only had them a few months and haven't felt like we needed to clean them that thoroughly yet). They fluffed up pretty fast once we got them open - it was fun to watch. The cat loves to nap on them, too, especially since the dog isn't interested in climbing on them. ... show more

Pretty sure this would be a great place to sit if the cats ever gave us the chance... The medium was the right size for a tween/teen/small adult. Probably too big for a small child. Even after several weeks (granted, mostly used by medium-sized cats, one at a time), it does not seem to have squished down, so I'm optimistic about the longevity. In fact, in the 2 times I've sat in it, sometimes I wish it squished just a little more, but my tween is super happy with it. Amazingly, the cover does not seem to pick up excessive amounts of cat hair! It's still soft and bright. We're really happy with this purchase--I was worried about a bean bag chair getting squished down, but I can tell that's not going to be a problem. And the price (around $70) was reasonable for what we got--and the fact that we won't have to restuff it, probably ever. ... show more

We opened this the night before Christmas, to find the ‘fluff’ all over the bag. There was a tear in it, and the shipping made it go all over. So we duct taped the rip so my son would have a present. Then, when he tried it and wanted it a little softer, we found that the zippers you need to open to remove some material were broken. Had to spend an hour with pliers to open them.     • Wrong Size 2 Times!

We ordered the Medium and received a size Large! The sticker on the box said Medium but once it was opened it revealed a Large Fuf. We want to return it BUT it is IMPOSSIBLE to fit back into the tiny box it came in. Still working on how to return it within the time frame. Amazon sent another to replace it. The box said Medium again and looked much smaller than the last one. Opened the box and we got a SMALL! This one is easier to package up and is going back again. I hope when I order this for the 3rd time that we get a Medium. Such a waste of time and resources. Not sure if Amazon is labeling the boxes incorrectly or if Big Joe is providing them incorrectly. Someone needs to fix things. Just be aware before ordering! However, we did sit on the large (trying to put it back into the box) and it does seem comfy and fun to sit on. Unfortunately our child will not be receiving it on his birthday like we had hoped. ... show more
