I love this foundation. I am 58 and cannot wear anything that sinks into wrinkles and magnifies them. This does not. It glides so smooth as I apply it with a foundation brush and just blend until it looks even. It’s medium coverage I would say and that is how I use it. If you layer it up it will cover up everything but that’s not what I do. One layer for me looks rather natural and covers up just about all the imperfections like sun damage and fine lines.     • Great Foundation, However, Poor Pump Applicator Performance

This is a two-part review, the foundation is excellent, but the frustrating pump applicator ruins the experience. For reference, I am in my mid-sixties with normal/dry skin, my complexion is between light and medium, and my skin tone coloration is ‘warm’. Although my skin tone is even, my skin texture has the fine lines of a mature woman for my age. At this stage of my life, my major concern regarding foundation is that I do not want it to sink into any lines or wrinkles in my face, which accentuates them and then makes me look older than I am already. Concerning this issue, this foundation is excellent; it applies smoothly without accentuating and sinking into the lines. I am very pleased with the ‘honey beige’ color, it stays true, does not change to orange, and the foundation stays fresh all day without any need for a reapplication. The foundation is light and creamy, does not leave a ‘caked-on’ look to ruin my appearance, and I receive the same great results both with and/or without an application of a facial primer. However, I have mixed feelings about the performance of the pump style bottle. I do prefer the pump to a screw-off cap, but this pump does not work well at the end, for the last portion. This is frustrating for two reasons, first this is a waste and secondly, when I left for an overnight trip, there was plenty of foundation left, but I was not able to get it out of the bottle. ... show more

This foundation is wonderful. It gives you a very natural appearance with a little glow. It has great coverage, and lasts all day. Did I mentioned that it has antiaging serum?I tried many other foundations from other expensive brands, but I always come back to this one. This one is a must have!

    • Would be a holy grail foundation - if it had staying power

This is one of the loveliest, most natural, least-greasy full coverage foundations I've ever tried. I was relieved to find that I could colormatch easily to my other l'oreal products and select the right shade, even ordering online. I figured that would be a risk but it worked out. Previously my favorite foundation was Clarins Everlasting Foundation but it has a disheartening tendency to settle into lines, especially in the winter. Visible Lift has this beautiful luminous finish that you really just don't see with full coverage foundation. I don't know how they did it but it is silky, densely pigmented, non-drying, and wears well. If it weren't for the fact that I know I'll have trouble with the pump leaving product in the bottle (after reading all the other reviews) this would be my holy grail foundation. If they made a bronzer with this same formula I would buy it in a heartbeat. One thing to note is that when you set it with powder you lose the luminosity of the finish completely. Oh well. Maybe a setting spray will work. UPDATE: One thing this foundation absolutely lacks is staying power. I've been using it constantly for the past few weeks and I find that it lasts 5 or 6 hours. When I go to take my make up off in the evening there is almost nothing left to come off onto the wipe! Not ideal. In places where I need proper coverage I've been layering another foundation on top of this one. I imagine that what might be needed is powder AND a setting spray. But then you might get problems with the foundation settling into creases. Overall, this foundation has my recommendation if you want to look pretty to go out for dinner or if you use foundation primarily as an enhancement rather than for coverage. re: anti-aging benefits - I have not as yet seen any differences in my skin from using this foundation, positive or negative.
