Makes a great chair for an adult or a lounge chair for a child. I have a 5' Big Joe Fuf and this is substantially smaller - even a little smaller than expected given the stated dimensions - which has its pros (lighter, takes up less floor space) and cons (doesn't allow most adults to recline and take a nap). The Cloudweave fabric cover with its leather trim is really classy looking and seems like it should be a lot more durable than the basic, thin, kind of cheap-looking fabric on my other Big Joe Fuf. The latter held up well through a couple of years of daily use but then started to fray at the seams and develop little puncture holes and tears seemingly all at once. I think this one will likely last longer. The fabric handles at top and bottom are also a nice touch and make it easier to re-floof once a week or so as it starts to get a bit compressed after you've been sitting on it a lot. I'm a fairly large man, 6'2", 250 lbs., and this 4' model supports me just fine. I stand for most of the days, so this works great as a chair when I want to take a quick break, rest my legs for a moment, maybe check my phone or watch a quick YouTube video. I also like that due to its relatively small size it doesn't even give me the option to lie back and close my eyes, because if that option exists, too often I will take it. ... show more

Bought 2 of these for my niece and nephew for Christmas. Was a bit worried when I saw some of the reviews that seemed to show flat chairs. I shouldn't have been concerned, the chairs are nice and fluffy/puffy. They arrived in boxes that looked similar to flat-pack furniture but that was because the foam was squished and sealed in airtight plastic. When opened, it was hard and flat but I gently broke apart the "brick" of foam with my hands after placing the internal bag inside of the outer cover. Then I let it sit overnight on Christmas Eve to have it be nicely fluffed for Christmas morning. They were perfectly pouffy, though you do seem to sink into the chair more than the advertisement photos. They are comfy to sit in and the covers seem durable. My niece and nephew had a fun jumping into them. No beans in these bags but I think the foam is adequate, probably is easier to ship flat than the old school beans were. ... show more

I followed the directions and we impatiently waited the 2 days to fully expand and itโ€™s perfect. I wanted the 5 ft but went with the 4 due to lack of space but itโ€™s huge. My son loves it. This is truly the worst "bean bag" chair I've ever had the distinct displeasure of ever sitting on. First of all, it is not really a bean bag chair -- it is not composed of the "beans" typical of bean-bag chairs, but is rather composed of one giant bag of expanding foam, and so it doesn't allow one to sit on it in any sort of structured, supported way. I bought this with the intention of sitting on it with my toddler son, but we both slide off of it and can't sit together on it comfortably. (For the record, my 4-year-old is 40lbs, and I'm 130 -- we should not be collectively too large to sit on this!). It is also absolutely enormous, in a way that the official measurements can't quite capture. It will take up almost half of a normal-sized room. After sitting on it a bit, it becomes a pancake, so you have to reshape it, but reshaping it makes it huge and unwieldy. Finally, good luck ever cleaning it! My son had an accident on it, so I took off the cover to wash it. I made sure not to put it through the dryer. Afterwards, I could not get the "bean bag" back in the cover, and the zipper broke. (I should have known I wouldn't be able to get the cover back on, since the instructions when I got it said to put the "bean bag" in the cover before it had fully expanded from its original packaging -- but then how are you supposed to ever clean the cover??) I'm throwing it out now about 8 months later, after loathing it for much of that time. Don't make my mistake, get a real bean bag chair, not this foam kind! I honestly can't remember regretting something I've purchased on Amazon as much as I've regretted buying this chair. ... show more
