Very comfortable to sit in but I can imagine not quite if one is big in size/tall (I am 5'2" and wear an American size 4). the biggest issue for big/tall people would be, first the seat is not that big (for me it is just right but if someone is bigger, probably would find the seat is too small) and it is quite low so your legs would not be able to put in 90 deg siting position (shorty like me is just perfect and just stretch out in a lazy way). Although the back support is quite good; but the beans would get squeeze away at the bottom when you sit on it so the heavier you are, the more foam beans would be disperse to other part of the chair and leaving nothing at the bottom (I usually shake the bean chair a bit like it is a pillow whenever i stand up to go get a drink or something, so to keep the shape in place) ... show more

So my kid’s love the chair, but this review is not for the chair. It’s for the box that the chair came in. Whoever had the idea to make it a big cut out box already perforated to make a castle and shield out of is a genius! They get kids! My children have played with the box (now a castle and shield) more than they have sat in the chair (and once again, they love their new reading chair too.) This chair is the perfect size for my son (he's a tall 10 year old) and he is really looking forward to having his very own chair that he can move around the house when ever he wants to! We ordered this chair for my son for his 10th birthday. We opened it on his birthday morning (this past Sunday) and there was a hole in the front of the chair at the seam. I took pictures and submitted it to their website. I received an email on Tuesday that we would be receiving a replacement chair and we just received it this morning. So in less than a week they have sent us a replacement. I really appreciate how quickly they made this right for us and the communication.
