Why did you pick this product vs others?: I bought this product over the others for the material. I knew I didn’t want cotton or microfiber. The leather look elevates my son’s room and matches the aesthetic I was going for. In short, it doesn’t look cheap- you can tell it is high quality! Functionality: the handle on the back makes it easy to transport from one room into another, perfect for a family movie night, etc. I also love the side pocket to hold a drink or remote Size: the description is “dorm”, but I bought this for my younger son. I’m 5’2” and also fit in the chair comfortably. The whole family loves it! I have a different shape big Joe for my other son and prefer this model. ... show more

    • Several issues to fix

Overall I do like this bean bag but I’ve found 3 complaints to keep in mind when purchasing. First the bean bag comes lacking in stuffing. Not by a lot but enough that I had to choose between adjusting the stuffing so that the backrest was packed enough to lean back while not having much stuffing to keep my behind off the floor. The other option is moving the stuffing to pad the bottom comfortably but then having little stuffing to lean back without feeling as if you’ll topple over. So expect to buy more stuffing to better fill out the entire bag. Second the zipper was difficult to open in my opinion. The instructions advise using a paper clip or key ring to thread through the zipper since it doesn’t have a small handle as most zippers do. Regardless I felt as if an excessive amount of force was needed to get the zippers to open. And lastly the stuffing that comes with the bag is a nuisance to get out of the bag when trying to wash it. It’s small foam balls that has a strong static cling. So it sticks to your hand, clothes, the bean bag, the floor. Just a hassle overall to empty the bag and stuff it back up. In the end I have just purchased a different stuffing that I intend to swap in and fill the bean bag with. Those things aside. Love this great little gaming chair I got for my autistic grandson who can really overdo gaming. It's comfy, sturdy, a good size for a smaller bedroom, a pretty color and has a handy pocket for controls snack remote etc. It was so lightweight and a fun gift to wrap making an imposing presentation. This chair arrived much earlier than estimated which was great! The box arrived in pristine condition and has designs on it so it can be reused as a fort for smaller kids ! The Chair itself seemed smallish, but I'd ordered it as a gift for a kid so that was ok, however I sat in it also and it was so comfortable and perfect size (I'm 5'3) it looks a bit underfilled, hower when it is sat in the inner materials redisperse filling all areas for just the right amount of support. I wish it had come with additional filling for later as we all know it will eventually lose some volume as expected, but overall I love this chair. The price may be slighly high but I would still absolutely buy this chair again. Perfect for children and petite to average sized adults !! ** If it is given care and not jumped in/on or sat into roughly, this chair should last a good while. Pros: • edges are gradual, so our 1yo's tumbles were gentle • easy to move around or toss out of the way • The double locked zippers were a genius touch - our toddler opens everything. I used a safety pin to open them. I do not recommend opening to clean unless the world is ending. The beads will cling to everything. • material seems durable Cons: • We were finding beads for weeks after we got it. It doesn't leak, but the chair wasn't cleaned up after it was filled. This was a huge concern since our toddler was eating everything at the time. • Difficult to clean. Spot cleaning isn't sufficient for a toddler chair. She and her friends left puff and graham cracker remnants all over it, and there were mac n cheese smears. Thankfully, it did fit in our family size, front loading washing machine. I'm letting it air dry. Everything came out with a gentle wash. • not stand alone - has to be propped against other furniture. Lost some of its form, which I understand can be fixed with more beads. We chose this chair since our daughter was less likely to hurt herself falling off of it, and we're happy with that aspect.     • Most fantastical thing I’ve ever bought

This might be the most fantastical purchase I have ever made. First it comes in a box that they have purposely made reusable by placing graphics and instructions to turn said box into a cardboard castle. Your kids will love it. Then as I sat myself upon this magical comfortable cloud of awesomeness my inner kid squealed with joy. This is so much better than any old bean bag chair. I honestly don’t know if I will ever get out of it from the sheer comfort and joy it brings me. Cannot recommend enough and will definitely be purchasing another in the future. Small note I’d like me you thought the back had some form of hard support it sadly does not but it holds it shape very well and when leaned up against a surface can be comfortable but sturdy back support. ... show more
