Photos show what this really looks like in person. Bought for my nephews and was sorely disappointed. Straight out of the box, didn't hold shape at all, folds flat and it's like sitting on the floor. HUGE disappointment and waste of money.

Let's start with the delivery. The chairs arrived sooner than expected and they came in boxes that could be turned into a small castle for kids with a few cuts. The chairs are filled perfectly and are very sturdy for my kids. The cup and remote/book holder are a great addition. I would say the only "negative" thing would be that chair style is called "Dorm" and the picture shows a very tall person sitting comfortably in it but I don't think this size could be used comfortably by anyone over the age of 15. Product was NOT deflated as described in others comments when I opened it. It was not ripped. Material strong. Has a zipper in case it does not hold its shape for which I would add memory foam bits to if it does compress, and it looks washable. So far so good. I have no children that will be bouncing around on it stomping it down. I wanted it to put near a window where I can relax and read, or sleep with window open at night, we live in a cool northern area. A little tip I learned a long time ago when filling bean bags when my kids were small. YES. Put your filling in a plastic bag, then stuff the bag with the stuffing in the chair. Zip enough for your hand to get in and slide the bag off and there will be very little blow back from the stuffing. You're welcome. ... show more

This was purchased for Christmas and it is the end of January and it has completely lost it's shape . We've tried to fluff it to no avail. It seems that there is not enough of bean bag material for it to keep it's shape. It is a shame because the design is great for kids.

I bought three of these bean bag chairs for our 10 year old's to sit in while they game and they were flat within a month. I thought about buying refills to fluff the chairs back up but then I saw the price on the refills and thought there is no way I can afford to buy the refill bags for all three chairs. I love Big Joe products! I have several bean bags and bean chairs all of which have been ordered through Amazon and all of which have held up incredibly well considering that my 5th grade students sit on them every day. My students love them because they are so comfortable. However, when I received this "new" bean bag chair a few days ago, I noticed it seemed to be flat. When I opened the box it was sent in, the chair was scrunched up as though it had been used and then put back in the box. Upon further examination, the inner zipper was half way open and it was missing approximately 15% of its beans. The zipper had lots of bean pieces in the zipper teeth as though the zipper had been opened and closed many times. I have never had this on any of my other Big Joe products. (Big Joe products have double zippers making bean leaks almost impossible.) So, either the company sent me a damaged bean chair or a used bean chair when it was supposed to be new. I had to buy a bag of beans to fill the chair back up. ... show more

This would be a good chair for kids if it had enough beads in it. When you sit in it the beads move to the back and you end up on the floor. Then you have to shake it to redistribute the beads and there is nothing in the back. Trying to contact someone to help but can't get on touch with anyone.
