I totally understand why this stand has bad reviews but I think they are unwarranted. You always get what you pay for and if you're buying this stand you are probably doing things on a budget... the GOOD: obviously price, stable with my wife and I both in it, even better if you're in the stand alone. The BAD: assembly isn't the easiest but it wasn't as bad as most people claim, installing took a couple of adjustments and 100% required 2 people. The assembly: instructions are OK, fitment was decent (took some muscling at times), absolutely do NOT assemble in the woods unless you have no way of transporting the stand assembled minus the ladder. In the stand: I'm 6', 225lbs and I was very comfortable in the stand alone, adding my wife (120lbs including her arctic clothes, snacks, drinks, electronic devices, accessories, etc) made the stand a little tight but not bad, just had to hang my pack off the side. I did have to adjust the stand after our first hunt, the seat had a slight forward lean so I adjusted the straps and lowered it a bit so I highly recommend checking seat angle prior to calling your install complete. Also, no seat back makes it a little rough on the back. I'm not sure if these are stands I would put up and take down multiple times, we have them on the family farm so I plan on leaving them up until they rot. Hopefully this review helps. ... show more

Do not buy this hot steaming pile of garbage. Not sturdy at all because it only has one point of contact on the tree. Very uncomfortable for a number of reasons. It’s a nightmare to put together unless you’re an octopus then it might be easier and the pieces or just threw in the box. The rail cover was just wadded up and shoved in the box. Thanks! The hardware is all jumbled up in one bag nothing is organized and a pain to sort. Very noisy and creaks and pops every time you so much as blink. I bought this to hunt out of by myself and to have some room by sitting in the middle of the seat but no such luck because theres a bar right in the center and it’s very uncomfortable and hurts your butt. I will NEVER consider this brand ever again. ... show more
