Over All: The reason I gave Five Star rating for this buffer. This buffer has a small six inch pad, does not not have variable speeds but You can pay close to twice as much or more for the machines with additional options I don’t need to have. Additionally, this machine uses 2A, 20V Lithium rechargeable battery. It’s more powerful than some of the 12V system with higher prices. No load RPM of 3800/min. Also quiet, about 60 dB. So Over all, this is a good solid machine for basic polishing/buffering needs. And smaller pad has advantages also, it can work on small and tight areas, where it is impossible to use a larger machine. Based on these factors, I rate this machine Five stars. Ergonomic: Well designed machine and well balanced weight distribution. Easy to turn it Off and On at any position the machine is in. Maneuverability: Easy to maneuver either with one hand or both hands. The machine weighs only about 3.7 lbs with the battery so you are comfortable whether you are working on a flat, curbed, horizontal, vertical or upside down surfaces. (You need to be aware that some machines are lighter but sometimes the battery weights are not included in the weight description) Easy to Use: Just on/off Switch. You can hold it with one hand using the handle or using two hands with one hand on the middle of the body or you can comfortably hold it with one hand from the top holding the battery. During the middle of your job, if you want to rest, you can put the buffer away for a while upside down on the battery, avoiding the buffer pad to touch any surface. Especially useful; when your pad has paste or other cleaning materials. (Before and After photos and the polisher standing upside down on the battery attached)

For some reason when using the buffer, it will not maintain its high rpm when polishing a car. I have corded unit, although it costs twice as much as the battery operated unit, it will do the job in a third of the time this unit will. Don’t get me wrong, the battery operated unit is a nice unit, but it just seems like it needs more power. I will be using it for small jobs.

The media could not be loaded. I love the fact that it is cordless. That is a huge selling point. You don't have to drag around a cord. It is also lightweight. And has great ergonomics. Highly recommend.

I have in the past bought a lot of expensive buffer / polishers . I got snap- on and Mac ones Milwaukee. This unit does the job great fast and light weight. It does better than the rest . Wish would had one 15 yrs ago .
