The bed is super cute and my daughter loves it. That’s the most important thing to know. However the price is reflective of quality it’s not built to last forever but for a couple of years the price is definitely right. Things to note- there are stickers all over the pieces. It’s annoying because they don’t come off clean. There was general little damage all over the pieces. Not enough to return but if you are picky like me you will notice. And it will bother you. We added poles because our daughter wanted the canopy. Inexpensive white metal curtain rods on each side worked like a charm. The storage drawers work as expected and we left of the rope for the shelves since we didn’t feel like it was needed and it looked cheap. Honestly it is great with out it she has room for her water bottle and other pictures/ books/trinkets. Overall a good purchase for what we wanted. ... show more

Not as difficult to assemble as imagined due to the fact that it was delivered in 3 very heavy boxes; just time consuming. Seems pretty sturdy with it’s posted weight limits; this is for our small grandchildren not adults. Most of the set seems like quality materials but aesthetically it could have been done better, hence the 4 stars. All the screws sho and quite a few piece weren’t painted evenly. The only part of the set which will not be durable are the drawers. The glides are plastic but the bottoms of the drawers are very flimsy and will not hold anything besides light clothing. ... show more

We recently moved into our new home and had been trying to get our daughter to sleep in her own room and bed (she's 4 and co-slept with us). We saw this as an opportunity to get her to love her bed and room. And she does. She loves the top bunk, and the opening windows. From a different perspective, it was easy to follow the instructions, but I feel that it's a two-man job. My husband and I put it together in one day. It took about 3-4 hours and he had to use his drill for certain parts, like the windows and the doors. I know I would've had trouble doing it on my own (not a handy person). Purchased the loft bed for my 9 year child. There are several pieces to the bed so be prepared to spend 2+ hours putting it together. The bed sturdy but I do wish the drawers were deeper. Reduced stars because it arrived with paint chipping in multiple places and it appears as if they tried to repaint some prior chips with a different color white before shipping.
