I bought this tool with mediocre expectations, based on my use of a name brand, corded version, previously. Boy were my expectations surpassed. I recieved the item, it was light weight and compact, (was worried it wouldn't meet the challenge) first staple blew me away! I was installing chicken wire inside a 8x4 ft chicken house/yard combination. The wood was pine 2x2s, very solid wood and I was tensioning the chicken wire as I went. I was able to install well over 500 staples into wood at all sorts of angles, never ran in to a spot the machine was bulky or awkward, on a single charge of the battery! It was not even sluggish when I stopped for the night! Not only that but, get this part, it did not jamb 1 time, not 1 time in 500+ shots. The staples seem to be an odd size and might be proprietary but they send you 1500 staples and a few Brad's with your initial order. I did order more once I found them by size and matching brand, but now that I have used this machine I have zero regrets about buying the extra staples! I will be using this tool on a whole host of other projects. I might even invent a few new projects just to use this tool. It is a pleasure to hold in the hand. I am a small woman with small hands and it was comfortable to hold, strong action and but no recoil and no discomfort. My building partner, a very large man with very large hands also used it, comfortably. If you have any concerns about buying this product, set them aside! It is worth twice the listing price! Buy it! Buy the extra staples! Staple everything that's not nailed down. Go to your in laws house and staple everything not nailed down there. Reapulster your sofa. Heck, felt your basement ceilings! Just buy this one to do it. Also, no I am not a plant and I don't work for the company. I really bought this it arrived in 2 days and it astounded me! I am going to try the Brad's tomorrow to see if they are as amazing as the staples, which by the way are also smallish but thick and of really good quality!
