Really great curtains. I only planned on getting one pair but they went on sale so I went ahead and got a second set. They are thick and soft, and seem well-made. They definitely block the light (even when I had just one pair). They come with lovely gold and silver tie-backs, but I haven’t had a chance to use them yet. It was, however, a pleasant surprise to receive them. The silver foil print was rubbed off some in places when the curtains arrived, which isn’t terribly unusual for foil print. I’m definitely concerned that washing them would ruin the print altogether, but hopefully I won’t have any need to wash them. Wrinkles also haven’t shaken out on their own so I may steam them at some point. They are lovely and work beautifully for my son’s room though. It was awfully hard finding good quality blackout curtains that were 45” so I’m very happy with my purchase and do recommend. ... show more

These are crazy amazing! I’ve literally tried $30 per panel “blackout” curtains over the 100% blinds (the light sneaks around so the curtain needs to work, too). These are significantly better. Actually blackout (we have not had summer bright morning sun yet but we have bright days)!!!! When I first opened it I was super disappointed with the quality of the grommets and backing of the upper hem but they look fine when on the curtain rods, move easily. The material is nice and the stars glimmer so the kids enjoy it a lot. It’s lightweight material but does the job very well. ... show more

Sometimes when you order stuff on Amazon, the pictures and description are nice, but then you get your order and it's basically nothing like the picture or description.....this is NOT the case here. I was pleasantly surprised how well the curtains I purchased darken my son's room AND they're cute. The material has stars that let a little light in, so it looks neat because it looks like the stars are "shining." I cannot believe I went so long without real, full length curtains. These are described as 'blackout curtains' and while, if you have a room light on and the windows closed, a Messerschmitt may still be able to see enough light, it does make a lovely, dark, cozy cave in which to awaken on the weekends. Also, I live on a main road. The eighteen wheelers start their runs at 4:30am. Or earlier in the summer. You know, when I am finally able to sleep with my windows open after the lengthy Season of Death and Darkness (known by others as Win-Ter). Past summers...I could hear those mothers coming two miles away. And would follow their progress down the road, past my house, and beyond. Really, a very good example of the Doppler effect. But these curtains...oh, these curtains...I slept so well this summer. I would leave them open, awaken at about three am, close them, and nary a truck did bother my sweet slumber. I am looking forward to seeing how well they keep out the cold air this winter. Thank you! ... show more
