Got these for my bedroom to replace a near identical set that no longer fit after I changed residences. The two pictures I took were taken within a minute of each other, on a sunny day with the sunlight coming in through the window. They are not perfectly blackout, as you can kind of see the blinds through the curtains and this is in full daylight. My other set is full blackout and you can tell the difference in that my smaller set is three layer (there's a thin material like is like a black foam material between the front and back cloth layers. This set doesn't have that, thus making it the 75% blackout that it says somewhere in the description. But I don't mind, they're not so dark that I can't tell it's morning, but keep enough light out that I'm not blinded by the light. I also like the feel of the material. They're soft, smooth and supple, I could almost like to wear them if they weren't curtains. I only gave one star for "sheerness" since, well, they're not supposed to be sheer, kinda the opposite. And why does having a fun star pattern make it only "for kids"? I'm an adult and I like them for myself. Would definitely recommend if you're not a morning person like me. :) ... show more
