They were breathable, and let in SOME light but also good curtains to where of i close them they are weighted so they stay where i want them and dont wrinkle or let it unwanted light! These are so cute in my daughters room! The soft pastel rainbow colors are pretty and the little star cut outs are so sweet when the light shines through. These do very well darkening her bright room, even with the cut outs. They are heavy weight and feel worth the price.

Absolutely beautiful curtains! Perfect for my Rainbows and Unicorns World Craft room. I needed a nice heavy duty curtain that would make this room dark when our granddaughters come to stay. One is 3 and one is 13 and one is 22 and each like a dark room for sleeping. This room has a lot of light normally and even with blinds it is still pretty light in there. These curtains make it dark enough and has a little added fun with the tiny star cutouts. And they open and close very easy. You can also tie back the sheer layer if you want to or both layers with the tiebacks that came with them. Much nicer than I expected. And the material has a quite exquisite feel to it. Love these curtains for a 10-year old's room. She didn't want a pitch black room but a "mostly dark" room. The star cut outs are precise in shape and allow enough ambient light for her. It took me 2 hours to steam the wrinkles out (worth it!) So adorable!

These curtains are beautiful and perfect for my daughter’s room. The top layer is white sheer and the panels underneath are thicker and multicolored with stars punched out. It looks like the photos. The only thing is that the stars do not shine at night. They do not glow in the dark. The stars show up beautifully during the day when it is sunny because the curtains are thicker and block the sun except for where the star cut outs are. It really makes the room look great. The only way you would see the stars at night was if there was some sort of light that shines from the window into the room. This was a wonderful purchase. ... show more
