This is my second dress from this company. I enjoyed how my first could cover many flaws (although I have to wear it with a sweater or jacket because it hits my 5’1” overweight torso in an odd, unflattering way). The illustration looks like it’s a gold/black & gray/white, but what I expected to be tones of black are actually light and dark blue, with no white at all. It’s fine but will make it a little trickier for me to coordinate. I will keep it because it’s still nice.

I ordered a 4X. I am a 48 DDD and the stop is snug. I worry when I wash it, it may shrink or get tighter. I will try air drying the dress to reduce shrinkage. Nonetheless, I like the empire waist and the fabric breathes well but is not translucent. The length is nice - the hem sits just above my ankles. I am 5'3. I like that the pockets are higher up than my other dresses for ease of grabbing my phone or keys. The pockets are large enough to hold my iPhone 13 mini, Edge wallet and keys. A full size iPhone might be a little to big for the pockets. I thought the flower print was white, but they are a light beige color. Not bad, but I wanted to mention it. If I purchase another, I'll order a 5X because I prefer loose fitting clothes.

I did not think this would be more than a house dress for me. But I was surprised to find it was truly long & did not shrink (cold wash). It is flattering on & is cool cotton. It has maintained its shape & hangs up a few hours with no wrinkles. I am not into Asian prints but have now found a bright pink floral that I just ordered. Hoping it will fit & stay in as good a shape as the original blue order. Very cute!

This dress is lovely but it is too see through. You have to layer a full slip, or camisole and half slip over your underware. I don't like doing that. Too bulky and hot, and heavy for a summer day. Material needs to be thicker and more opaque.

The only thing that made me decide to return it is that it was too big. I am losing weight, and am also short! So right now, tops fall off my shoulders, and I keep stepping on the hem! If it hadn't been too big on top, I would have probably had it shortened... I also loved the "self-belt" (made of the same fabric), and would have found other uses for that, too!

I am reordering in the Large despite the measurements suggested for XL. Also, the bodice ends up high wasted with my C cup size so belts don't work. The fabric is lovely, cool and hangs nicely. Out of the package it is very wrinkled but I applied a fine spray of cool water to the whole dress on a hanger and the next day there wasn't a single wrinkle anywhere.
