I bought the lavander curtains for my daughter's room. We use black out curtains in most of our rooms and our other curtains are a much darker color. Comparatively, these do not block out near as much light. But these are listed as room darkening curtains, not pure black out curtains. They specifically say they work to a certain percent and darker colors are better for the black out function. I am pleased with them, as they leave enough light during the day that I can see in her room to get to her. They are a beautiful color and a thick material. Easy to put up and affordable. Light blocking but not 90% blackout. Lowered temperature in the living room is a huge plus for electric bill. Color was accurate and material is so so but it's a curtain not a blanket.

Love the “summer sun” first thing in the morning, but it gets really really really hot in the afternoon!!!! These curtains are the perfect solution, keeps the sun out and, really helps keeps the room cooler….darkens the room for great sleeping in the bedrooms as well. So many great color choices for any room, any home and especially for any size RV… bumper pull or 5th wheel!!! You definitely won’t be disappointed in these curtains, and they are made from great material, not thin see through. This is the third time I’ve purchased these, and it won’t be the last time…. And they do come with two panels each the same width… use one panel to cover my 50W 45L window, and the second window use the other panel, ( I did this for the bedroom window, as these windows don’t care to have the curtains open)… and use both panels for the other windows to open during the day, and good closure keeping sun out during the day, and at night ... show more

These curtains are super cute but it doesn’t darken the room much. A ton of sunlight still comes in. I guess I will need to buy blackout curtains.

    • Great fabric, easy to install.
It was wrinkled out of the packaging but came out in a few minutes in a dryer of damp clothes. Looks great. Adds a great layer of insulation keeping heat out in the summer and cold out in the winter. Very soft to touch. Folds back nicely and isn’t bulky.
