Like the look of these curtains and they do a decent job at blocking out light. As noted in description these curtains don't block 100% of light, but they block enough for room to be fairly dark. Light thru the curtain almost looks like pinpricks of light. One thing to be aware of is that curtain length can be different between curtains as the length includes above the grommet. I tried the champaign color and it was too light and not very light-blocking. This is a very nice blue and blocks the light much better. Good quality and hangs nicely. I wouldn't use these in a bedroom for light blocking but for my living room over shades they are perfect and add some color to the room. ... show more

These curtains are ultra practical. I live in Oregon and we have cold winters and warm summers. These curtains provide some insulation to keep out winter cold and do a great job at blocking out summer sun that can heat up the house. They look nice too!
