This comes in 2 parts, the cover and the pad. It smells a little funny when you first remove it, but after a few hours it went away. My dog loves this bed, & hasn’t stopped laying in it since. She’s a medium dog, but I got her a size large. I would definitely recommend this bed when on sale (I got it for 30% off). This bed is nice & the price point isn’t bad, but it’s not as durable nor is the pad as dense as I thought it would be.

My dog has bad joints and wets herself. She took right to this bed and it's been easy to clean. She is 33 lbs so it's great size for a medium sized dog. the sides could be a bit smaller for head rest comfort... but overall it's good.
