At almost a foot long, the Mosasaurus will be the terror and entertainment of the local swimming pool. Use the remote controls to chase after dragonflies and bees cooling off in the summer heat. With a turning radius too big for a standard bath tub and much bigger fish in the ocean, this toy is sized for a pool or body of water with no waves. Attention to detail is great. The kids love how the tail goes back and forth and were mesmerized by how it "swims." I had to charge the battery out of the box, but an hour later it was good to go. It does not come with a screwdriver or AA batteries for the remote. In taking off the waterproof cover for the rechargeable battery, one of the screw locations was stripped in the plastic housing so the screw wouldn't come out. I had to break the plastic housing to get the screw out and glued it back together to make it waterproof again. The remote won't pair unless the Mosasaurus is already in the water, but once it was submerged, the remote synced up quickly. It's a little challenging to control at first. Each button controls one propeller. The Mosasaurus is waterproof, but the remote is not. It was fun until the remote fell in the water and stopped working.

My grandsons and I love the way this thing swims through the water. It's a pretty cool design and looks like a fish swimming. The remote control could be a little more responsive, but all in all it's not too bad. Comes with a rechargeable battery for the mosasaurus, but you do need batteries for the remote.

My son loves dinosaurs. This we call “fish dinosaur” lol. The tail broke off easily, my son is only 2 though. I think this is more age appropriate for 4-5 years old. Cool toy though!

The toy is very detailed and cool looking. Larger than I was expecting so pool or lake environment would be best tubs would probably be a little small. Remote works ok but range is a little limited before it starts to cut out a little bit. Fun toy for the pool!

My son is a huge dino fan, he loves everything dinos! He has all kinds of dino besides a mosasaurus! This one is very cool, he loves playing it in bath. Summer is coming and he will love this one in the pool!

This is a surprisingly well detailed radio controlled sea monster. The artistic attention paid to this item as a toy makes up for the fact that the radio controls are not exactly perfect. You will need to have a large body of water, not just a regular size bathtub, to appreciate what this thing can do. I recommend putting it in a pool if you can, it can do straightaways pretty well but it is rather difficult to control it underwater. Otherwise it is a really cool looking toy, can be used for a child to play with or to put on display in a young boy's room.
