    • Great RC car for young children

This is the second purchase I have made from Bezgar and I would buy from them again. Their products are as described and arrived on time and functional. The products are excellent for the price paid. The first RC Truck I purchased was for an older grandson who is very hard on his RC vehicles. The truck is holding up exceptionally well. It even offered a free accessory for registering (II selected batteries). They too arrived on time and as described with NO hassles from the seller! This latest purchase was for a much younger grandson. Make no mistake, this Lamborghini is not a hobby level RC car, but it has many great features for an RC car of its class. The first is that the transmitter and car pair on a channel and multiple 2.4GHz vehicles can be operated at the same time as long as the Tx and car are paired properly. This is GREAT because I have previously purchased two of an item ((when on sale) for my grandsons only to find out they both could not use them at the same time. The tires are soft rubber (or rubber material) not hard plastic. The car can hold its traction even on smooth surfaces. The lambo though is not proportional, i.e. it is either full turn right/left, full speed fwd/reverse or none. Not good as a hobbyist, but OK for young children who tend to fully move the controls anyway.. I have given the seller 5 stars because I am pleased with their products and would buy from them again - and plan to. ... show more

My 6 year old got this for Christmas from Santa and he's laid with it a few times. It's a nice race car, it goes fast. The remote is easy to use. Its smaller than what you might think. But Overall a good purchase.

For 24$ this car is totally worth it. Is it packed with power? No. But it runs pretty well for a car of this level. What’s best about it? It uses regular or rechargeable AA batteries, so there is no bs internal battery to put a short definitive lifespan on this device. (This is one of my favorite aspects for sure as I have had so many cars becomes bricks because the crap internal battery stops holding a charge after a year or two) What’s worst about it? It does not do well on carpet. If it’s very spongy carpet, it will get stuck. A fairly flat area rug, it can make it over usually. Other positives: Easy setup. Inexpensive. Very simple to operate. Other negatives: It will sometimes pull to the left a bit, but it’s intermittent and there is a adjustment dial underneath it if it was a continuous problem. The car is low to the ground so if you drive it on sidewalks outside, it can get stuck on uneven blocks, like where one sidewalk block transitions to a new one and sometimes one sinks a bit so they are uneven. One other weird issue I have noticed and maybe this is intentional, if the car hits something that jars it around, it will stop accelerating for a moment. It’s almost like it cuts power for 1 second if it hits a big bump or crashes into a chair, then it goes back to working fine. ... show more

    • Might Need a Slight Modification

Without modification 1/5 stars, with modification 3/5 stars. I ordered the Lamborghini Aventador SVJ and the Ferrari F40. I thought these two cars were going to have basically the same chassis and motors. Using the same batteries fresh out of the pack, the Ferrari F40 was noticeably faster, but had worse stopping power(?) Now, if you're only looking to buy one this probably isn't an issue. The main issue is that the lamborghini model had an absurdly large turning circle. The diameter of its turning circle was about 15 feet, I couldn't even do a U turn with it in my kitchen... The Ferrari F40 did not have this issue and had a turning circle diameter of about 5-6 feet, which isn't spectacular by any means, but is a LOT more controllable than 15 feet. I decided to open up the lamborghini to see its steering mechanism and see if it could be modified. Strangely enough, the steering gear mechanism, the wheel well, everything allows for a much sharper turn, except the steering rack. The steering assembly has a part that resembles a steering rack to some degree, there are two stoppers that hit the chassis of the car. You can remove these stopper bumps with sandpaper or a drill, then the rack moves further and instead hits the "tie rod" against the chassis of the car instead, which is fine, it just makes it turn much sharper. After this modification and reassembling the car, the lamborghini also has a turning circle diameter of about 5-6 feet like the F40. ... show more
