I bought this rc car so I could join my son when he plays with his rc car. This thing is so much fun, a lot more than I had expected and the quality far exceeded expectations. First this thing is really fast, if you play with it in the house you'll probably need to crank the speed dial down. It'll jump book ramps and climb blanket & pillow mountains. It charged relatively quickly and I haven't had to recharge it yet about l after about an hour of play. I do wish it had a second battery.

I both one at Walmart for $60 and was so disappointed in the quality, speed and turning radius of the vehicle. It looked cool but performed poorly. For $40 more I got this Bezgar HB101 and man what a difference. I now understand the importance of replacement parts as this vehicle can go so fast at a high speed that you can crash the vehicle, but the thrill and excitement of is worth it. The car tuns quick on a dime and you can get it to skid out on asphalt. Imagine what you can do on smooth concrete. I may need to try on the park basket ball court. Well worth the money and the time. Of course if you are looking for more, like I would prefer real lights on the top of the roof of the windshield but they didn't design it that way. You pay for what you get. If I want to get into this hobby I am sure there is more you can do.

My overall experience with the HB101 has been great. As a teenager and very young adult i had R/C vehicles and loved them. As a 41 year old adult, I am happy to make my return to R/C vehicles with my now 10 year old son. A couple things to mention about the HB101: The HB101 is priced right in my opinion. It's a good hobby grade truck for beginners. Being able to switch between low or high speed really helps with this! This is not a toy! Please supervise your child until he proves he can handle it. The battery life is on par with my expectations. I recommend buying a couple more batteries just to keep the fun going. The price from Bezgar is really reasonable. The HB101 seems durable enough to handle most things you throw at it. And we have been having some fun with it! I did break some parts and Bezgar customer service was OUTSTANDING in helping me get my issues resolved. If you are looking for a good value in a entry level HOBBY grade vehicle, give the HB101 a shot.

Just a heads up for Bezgar owners, and others, that are looking at buying this Bezgar HB 101 model. Bezgar products have been purchased by us in the past and have always been a good quality product. And, at a fair price when compared to some of the other vehicles of this type.. Someone at Bezgar dropped the ball on this model. Allow me to try and clarify. For the most part this model appears as if it is very well made, and Bezgar quality. But, the front end suspension components are pretty much junk. The front wheels on the model that I received were way out of alignment, and the wheels themselves were loose on the hubs, And, all of the steering tie rod ends were very loose fitting. Not the quality that I was expecting from Bezgar, nor the quality that I have seen on Bezgar models in the past. Did I receive a defective model? Well, seeing how these models are most likely made in the same factory, and again, most likely on the same assembly line, it's doubtful that this was the only model that came off the line with the defects that the model that was received had. It's a shame because the rest of the model looks as if it's well made. The model never made it to the testing stage because the front-end looked so weak that the fear of breaking a part if the vehicle was to run into some thing was very much a concern. Am I being picky? Maybe. But a little kid certainly would run into something while learning how to operate his/her new, what's supposed to be, a very fast RC vehicle.
